The Disney Store is now offering their exclusive Marvel Toy Box Black Panther and Black Widow figures, which are both available in stores and online. The Marvel Toy Box figures are based on the Disney: Infinity game designs, and are re-engineered and articulated. In the game, franchises could interact throughout all of Disney’s properties such as Marvel, Star Wars and Disney/Pixar characters. Fans of that game can now collect highly detailed and articulated figures based on those designs.
Recently, Disney Store announced additional characters that will be included to the Toy Box line-up, which includes Captain America and Star-Lord for Marvel, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Princess Leia for Star Wars, and The Incredibles – Mr Incredible, Mrs Incredible, Violet and Dash for Pixar.
Black Panther is gaining a lot of momentum right now in pop culture giving the fact that his upcoming historic film will be hitting theaters this Friday February 16th, 2018. Make sure to go see it.

The Black Panther pays tribute to his appearance in Disney Infinity, which some re-engineering on the sculpt so that it stands out on its own. The game design had some additional details on the suit itself including different grey patterns compared to this figure. This Black Panther figure has a different costume than what is shown in Disney Infinity, but the overall vibe of the likeness is there even if the costumes are different.
Black Panther stands at 5 1/4″ tall and us sculpted in his black panther suit that has black lines sculpted over the body. These lines give the figure some detail as opposed to just a basic smooth black suit, and are primarily on the chest and back, head, arms, and hips. The grey parts of the suit are different patterns compared to the video game, and are on his mask, forearms, and around his lower legs. The necklace around the upper part of the torso looks like teeth, and are painted in the same shade of light grey as other parts of the costume. The mask includes panther ears on top with white eyes, along with some grey deco around the front and sides of the head. The hands and feet include long nails for scratching and clawing at his opponents.
His articulation includes a ball jointed neck, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel-hinged hips, hinged knees, and swivel-hinged rocker ankles.
Included with Black Panther are two Vibranium blast accessories. One looks like a claw that fits on his open handed fist, and the other looks like a blast effect that Iron Man would use. These are made of translucent blue plastic, and fit firmly on the hands.
Overall, Black Panther is a great Marvel Toy Box figure and a great addition to the line. We especially love the design of this figure plus all the great articulation and accessories that are included. Marvel fans will love this one.
