Disney Store Exclusive Pixar Toy Box Incredibles 2 – Mr. Incredible & Mrs. Incredible Figures Review

The Disney Store is expanding their Pixar Toy Box offerings with figures of Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, and these figures and are re-engineered and articulated to resemble the Disney Infinite video game as well as the upcoming Incredibles 2 feature film. In the game, franchises could interact throughout all of Disney’s properties such as Marvel, Star Wars and Disney/Pixar characters. Fans of that game can now collect highly detailed and articulated figures based on those designs.

Recently, Disney Store announced additional Incredibles 2 characters that will be included to the Toy Box line-up, which includes Violet, Dash and Frozone, and these will be available at sometime in 2018.

Thank you to Disney and The Disney Store for providing their Exclusive Pixar Toy Box Incredibles 2Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible figures for review.

Availability: April 2018 – Disney Store Exclusive

These Incredibles figures are incredible themselves, and Disney is offering Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible (Elastigirl), and each comes with different versions of Jack Jack. If you’ve been a fan of the Incredibles since the first film launched in 2004 in theaters, you will be aware that no one has made figures like these before, and fans looking to buy some movie accurate figures that are highly detailed and articulation will be more than happy with these new Pixar Toy Box figures that the Disney Store is now carrying.

Since 2004, we’ve been waiting for figures such as these as we were fans of the original film and even the original toyline that Hasbro offered weren’t up to our standards. At the time, the market was finding itself and not too many companies were making highly detailed and articulated figures like these, and we are happy to see the industry finally find itself and offer something like this for the Incredibles.

Mr. Incredible is the muscle of the team, the father, the leader, and a well known superhero in the franchise. This figure makes a great representation of the character, as he is re-enginerred from his appearance in Disney Infinity video game and Incredibles 2. Mr. Incredible stands at 5 1/4″ tall, and is big and bulky in his head, chest and arms, with thin legs as he was designed to be. The head sculpt looks fantastic, and is masked with his blue eyes showing through. He also has blonde hair that is curled on top , and his chest and arms are big and buffed that makes him looking formidable. He is painted in his red outfit with a black trim around his neck, black gloves, an orange belt, black shorts and black boots. The Incredibles logo is on his chest, and is nicely done with crisp lines in the orange, black and yellow deco.

Mr. Incredible is not as beefed up as the Hulk, but surely looks like he can temporarily hold his own before Hulk smashes him. His articulation includes a swivel-hinged neck, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, waist rotation, swivel-hinged hips, swivel-hinged knees, and swivel-hinged ankles.

Mr. Incredible comes with Jack Jack with his flame powers activated, and this figure is made of translucent plastic that is painted in yellow, orange and red flames. The head is covered with a larger flame piece that cannot be removed, and the figure is sculpted to a stand and is non-articulated.

Mrs. Incredible has the ability to stretch her arms, legs and other parts of her body to unknown great lengths, and is also the wife of Mr. Incredible, and mother to Violet, Dash and Jack Jack. The figure stands at 4 1/2″ tall, and has a thin lean sculpt, with an oversized head sculpt as she was designed to look. Her head sculpt looks great, and has a black mask with brown eyes looking through, and black hair. She is painted in her red and black superhero outfit, with black trim around her neck, black gloves, shorts and boots, and an orange belt around her waist. The Incredibles logo is the same (but only much smaller) than Mr. Incredibles, and the nice crisp red lines are there as well.

Mrs. Incredible’s articulation includes a ball jointed neck, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, waist rotation, swivel-hinged hips, swivel-hinged knees, and swivel-hinged ankles.

She comes with a standard version of Jack Jack without his powers, and he is also a PVC figure that is sculpted to a stand. His head sculpt includes a black mask with his blue eyes looking through, and a long piece of blonde hair on top. He is also smiling, with his mouth sculpted inward, and you can see his tongue. His outfit is painted in red, with black trim around his neck, wrists, feet.

Overall, there is a lot to love about Mr. and Mrs. Incredible as well as both versions of Jack Jack that are offered as a bonus, and we can assure fans of the films, Disney Infinity and the Toy Box line will be very happy with these figures. These are the figures that fans like us have been waiting a long time for.
