This wave included the Ultimate Warrior and Ronda Rousey.

Shinnsuke Nakamura career highlight so far is being the winner of the 2018 Royal Rumble match, and surprises the fanbase by eliminating Roman Reigns and entitling himself to a main event spot against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34.

Thank you to Mattel for providing their WWE Ultimate Edition Shinsuke Nakamura figure for review.

Availability: August 2019

Shinsuke Nakamura is packaged in a new type of window box that is styled different than the packaging for the WWE Elite figures, and has action shots of the wrestler on the back, a brief bio, and an image of him on the right side. The figure and all of his accessories are carefully placed in a plastic tray, which is nicely displayed in the box and gives you a good look at what’s included.

Shinsuke Nakamura gets the Ultimate treatment from Mattel and is the definitive version of him that you can own. The figure comes in his recent red outfit, with a red faux leather jacket and gold zipper that is made of a soft plastic, gold stripes on the arms, shoulders and around the neck, and rings on the sides of this shoulders. While the jacket is removable, the pants are sculpted and have a grey pattern going down the sides. The jacket opens up in the back, and the arms have sculpted sleeves just like Bret Hart’s, and are interchangeable with the pair of bare arms for the match.

All three of his head sculpts came out great and gives you the best likeness of him that’s available on the market. All of these head sculpts have unique facial expressions and nicely done sculpted facial details. The hair on these goes down the right side and back, with the left side shaved. He also has a sculpted and painted beard and mustache that also has a texture.

The the match, he is shirtless and the red pants and shoes are sculpted. His left arm has a band around it, and both wrists have bands around them. Between the three interchangeable heads, and three sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted, open fist, and fingers pointing).

Shinsuke Nakamura is fully articulated that includes a ball jointed head, ball jointed torso, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles and hinged toes.

Overall, the Ultimate Edition version of Shinsuke Nakamura is truly a definitive version of the character that every WWE fan needs to own. The upgrade to the articulation and even more detail really brings out a much more life-like appearance to him that fans are sure to love. Every bit of detail is given to the figure that fans have been requesting. Shinsuke Nakamura and Bret Hart are available now, so make sure to get your orders in.
