Mattel WWE Elite Collection Hollywood John Cena Figure Review

Mattel is new offering a new line of WWE figures inspired from their Hollywood films, including John Cena as Jakob Toretto and The Rock as Hobbs in ‘Fast & Furious 7,’ and Roddy Piper as John Nada in ‘They Live.’ This line is exclusively available at Wal-Mart Stores now and it appears that Roddy Piper is the most popular of the wave. John Cena includes a removable shirt, and two sets of interchangeable hands.

Thank you to Mattel for sending along their WWE Elite Collection Hollywood John Cena Figure for review.

Availability: November 2021

John Cena is packaged in the standard Elite blister card, with artwork including a black card with a Hollywood logo, the sides include images of Cena, and the back includes a look at the full wave and a description.

John Cena features the likeness of how he appeared in ‘Fast & Furious 7’ as Jakob Toretto. He includes a dark blue fabric shirt with velcro in the back to easily remove it, and long black pants with sculpted folds, and black shoes. The muscular tone and physique are nicely done as we’ve seen with his other figures, and this head sculpt is brand new with a nicely done facial details, and light brown hair.

As this version of him is inspired from Fast & Furious 7, this is a version of John Cena that you don’t own and fits in perfectly with his other figures.

What’s also great is that the Elites are also compatible with the Wrekkin’ Slam Mobiles offered in red and blue, so he can drive a car as seen in the film.

John Cena includes an extra set of interchangeable hands, and his articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.

Overall, John Cena is a great offering and an welcome addition to the line. Mattel’s WWE team continues to do a very impressive job on this brand with likenesses and quality that fans will surely love. This wave is available now and your best bet of tracking it down is in-stores.
