It’s 2023 and that means a new year of reviews! Diamond Select Toys are now offering their Marvel Select Vision figure, based on his appearances in Marvel Comics. Vision makes his triumphant debut in Diamond Select Toys Marvel Select line, and joins some other classic comic Avengers characters such as Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, and Hawkeye.

Vision is packaged in the standard Marvel Select packaging with his logo on the front, and comic-inspired artwork on the front, side and back. Also on the back is an image of the figure, along with a description.
Vision is comic based and comes in his classic green and yellow outfit, with a wash over the black and yellow, and a gem on his chest. The sculpt is muscular, and the cape is made of a soft plastic. On his back there is also a hole for a slight stand to be plugged into it, which is not included.
Vision includes two head sculpts, one a normal face, and the other an angry face with a removable Infinity Stone, which allows you to plug in the laser affect part. The facial expressions are nicely done and the angry face show is teeth. The Infinity Stone is easy to remove, but once removed it has a tendency to fall out easily, so be weary of that.
He also includes an extra set of interchangeable hand sculpts, including a open hand, and an effect hand. The effect pieces can be placed on on his wrists, by first removing his wrist. Either option is a great way to pose Vision, and the effects parts themselves are each nicely done with great display options.
Here is a closer look at the laser piece in the forehead, which the Infinity Stone is removed and swapped out for this piece.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso and swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, Vision is a great figure and it’s long overdue to get this character in the Marvel Select line. The interchangeable parts are a lot of fun to swap out and this is one you’re definitely going to want to add to your collection.
