Mattel has also sent over some details about Snake Lair, which will be a crowdfunding playset going live on Mattel Creations on August 12th, 2024.

The Snake Lair, fortress to the Snake Men faction, was first featured in Classics mini comics but never created in toy form. Now, you have the chance to bring it to life. It’ll feature a throne room for Lady Slither, with both a bi-pedal and serpentine design. Unwelcome visitors will be greeted with blasters, snatched up in capture devices, and placed into the iron maiden or snake shackles. We added a fully detachable Rattle Trap vehicle, also a first-time creation for the line. And we’ve got more surprises to reveal. Fund all the tiers and restore Lady Slither’s stronghold to its prehistoric glory!

6. Is the vehicle included in the set?
Absolutely! This will be the first time we will be able to get Rattle Trap in toy form. It will
come with the base level playset.
7. Will my credit card get charged?
You won’t be charged unless the campaign reaches the minimum goal of 6000 backers by
September 8th (23:59 PST). Only when the campaign succeeds, will your payment will be
processed. If it doesn’t succeed, your pre-order will be canceled, and the pending charge
will disappear.
8. What is the price for this playset?
This is an early sneak of product and pricing will be shared on Monday, August 5th, 2024
9. What does the oEering will include:
6,000 backers are needed to successfully fund the Snake Lair Playset.
Early Backer Bonus – If it’s funded in the first 2 weeks (August 25, 2024 23:59 PST) , Lady
Skeletal Slither will be included for all backers, and stayed tuned because we will have

10. Are there any motorized feature?
No. There are no electronics in the playset.
11. How does this campaign work?
If the crowdfund reaches 6,000 pre-orders before September 8, 2024 (23:59 PST) the
playset will go into production and will be shipped in Fall 2025. If the goal isn’t met by the
end date, the project will be canceled, and all money will be refunded.
