Hasbro are now offering their G.I. Joe Classified Series Kim “Jinx” Arashikage and Night Creeper figures as part of their 6″ line, which are inspired from their character designs in the 1980’s. Jinx was first released in 1987 and is one of G.I. Joe’s foremost martial arts experts and her stealth and infiltration skills are second only to Snake Eyes. The Night Creeper was first released in 1990 and are used by Cobra as assassins and mercenaries.

Jinx and Night Creeper are packaged in the standard window box packaging, with logo’s and images on the front, sides and back. Both figures and their accessories come in plastic trays.
Jinx comes in her red and black ninja outfit, that includes a dragon emblem on left chest, black cuffs, and a black belt around her waist. There are also tattoos on her right arm, while her left is bare.
Her head sculpts include unmasked and masked, with the unmasked head sculpt showing her face and al the details, including black hair. The masked head is red, with the eyes showing through. 
Included with Jinx are two head sculpts, a blindfold, Katana and scabbard, two sets of interchangeable hands, and a Naginata spear.
Both the katana and Naginata spear can be placed in one of both of the open grip hands. They also have metallic silver blades, and brown handles, with the Naginata spear having a long black handle in-between them.
Her articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, swivel-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
It should also be noted that Jinx is not solely based on her vintage 1987 o-ring figure, as she is not retro carded, which are modern updates to the o-ring figures. The original figure was barefoot, and came with a backpack with two swords, while this one does not.
The Night Creeper is one of my favorite Cobra army building characters, and he comes in his classic purple, light grey pants with purple stripes, black and metallic silver outfit chest armor. Just like Jinx, the Night Creeper is also not based on his vintage o-ring figure, as he is given a new black belt with a metallic silver belt buckle that has two holsters for knives on the sides. He is also given new shoulder pads, which are made of a soft plastic, and the visor now has black around it.
His two head sculpts look great, and while one is looks retro inspired, the other one pays tribute to the Night Creeper version 2 figure, which was released by Hasbro in 1993 and was neon pink and blue. This new head is painted to go with this particular red and black outfit. The visor is also a neon red, and the shape of the head is different to pay homage to the second Night Creeper figure that Hasbro released.
Included with the Night Creeper are two sets of interchangeable heads, two sets of interchangeable hands, two swords, a crossbow, an arrow, backpack and two knives.
The swords both have a unique shade to the blades, which is nicely done. The knives can be placed in the holsters on the sides of the belt, which is new for him.
The crossbow, and swords can be placed on the backpack for storage, which is a nice touch.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, swivel-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, Jinx and Night Creeper are both great characters and welcome additions to the Classified 6″ line. The Night Creeper is an essential army builder for any G.I. Joe collection and you’re definitely going to want to buy multiples of him. The attention to detail, sculpts and accessories look great, so make sure to add these to your collection!
