Super7’s latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimates! wave are available now, which includes Punker Don, Robotic Bebop, Triceraton, Warrior Metalhead, and Guerilla Gorilla. These figures are inspired from the vintage toy line that many of us buying these grew up with, which were inspired from the classic cartoon series. Robotic Bebop and Rocksteady were created by Shredder to replace his henchman because of their incompetence and he wanted formidable opponents for the turtles. This wave is one of the last ones sculpted by Four Horsemen Studios, as they sculpted up to wave 9 and Super7 sculpted wave 10 and beyond in-house.

Robotic Bebop is packaged in a window box with a slipcover, with artwork on the front of the purple slipcover, and the classic logo on the back. Once removed, the packaging is consistent with the rest of the line, including nicely done artwork, the classic logo, and his name underneath on the bottom. On the back is more great artwork, including a bio and company logo’s.
Robotic Bebop is inspired from the vintage action figure from 1993, and is given the modernized treatment in Super7 Ultimates! line. He, along with Rocksteady are menacing looking robots, with weapons, strength and skill that far exceed the real Bebop and Rocksteady. The figure is given dark grey with metallic deco and looks the part of a robot, details sculpted on in blue and yellow, and the right wrist a circular blue part that you can place both the hands, drill, and the interchangeable Mechanical Mutant Claw. He also has hinged turtle shell shoulder pads with pipes sticking up, which is where you can also place the two flame attachments.
His head sculpt features a great likeness, and comes in the blue 80’s glasses, nose ring, and a translucent red mohawk on top.
Robotic Bebop includes 3 sets of interchangeable hands (2 closed fists, 2 gripping hands, 2 open hands), a drill hand, battle damaged hand, and a Mechanical Mutant Claw. a Laser Luger/Flame Thrower weapon, Stained Steel Cutter, Cyber Sewer Shield and 2 Shoulder Cannon Muzzle Flashes.
The interchangeable hands work as you would expect, but the really good accessories are his weapons. The drill is placed on the right hand, and you can rotate it. The battle damaged hand also has the blue circular part that is interchangeable. I believe this is supposed to be a damaged drill, which looks great.
The Mechanical Mutant Claw is placed on the right wrist by removing the blue circular part and placed the Claw on. The Claw looks great, but the fingers are not articulated.
The Stained Steel Cutter is a knife that can be placed in his open grip hands.
The Laser Luger/Flame Thrower weapon, and Cyber Sewer Shield fit in his open grip hands, and you can plug the fire effect part on the Flame Thrower.
The Shoulder Cannon Muzzle Flashes.can be placed on the top of the shoulder pads as shown.
He is also fully articulated, and includes a ball socket neck, ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, hinged shoulder pads, swivel biceps, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, swivel-hinged hips, swivel-hinged knees, and hinged ankles.
Overall, Robot Bebop is an excellent figure with a great likeness to the source material and fits in perfectly with Robotic Rocksteady. The weapons and interchangeable parts make both of these figures look even more formidable than they did in the cartoon, and the bulkiness of the sculpts makes these very appealing in your collection.
