Swoop transforms into a 86-26 Leader Dinobot Swoop, which is a flying dinosaur. The Studio Series ’86 line has given fans the best likenesses in sculpt, design and colors from G1, and Swoop is just as impressive as the rest of the line.

Swoop is packaged in the standard window box packaging that is standard for this line, including nicely done artwork and images on all sides. On the back are images of Swoop in both modes, including a look at the diorama that is included.
Swoop is inspired from Transformers ’86 The Movie and this nis the most show-accurate version of the character that Hasbro has ever released. The entire Studio Series line-up has been a dream come true for fans, Swoop comes in his classic colors, including light and dark grey, blue, red and metallic gold, with an Autobot logo on the top of the beak, and the back of the wings. The sculpt includes some nice details as you would expect in this line, including sculpted grooves, including folding wings in the back that can store both blasters of the front, and the swords on the back.
The wings can expand in either mode, and there is an Autobot logo’s on the back of each wing, which is hidden if it’s folded.
The blasters come as two separate parts and require assembly, and are placed in his hands, or the front of the wings.
The swords are both unique, and fit in his hands or placed on the back of the wings.
He transforms into a pteranodon and the beast mode is quite impressive, with a hinged jaw, hinged wings, and the beak has a hidden blaster inside as seen in the cartoon.
The blasters can be stored on the bottom of the wings, and the swords can be stored on the back of the legs.
Swoop can also stand on his feet in this mode, and his head lifts up as shown. The blasters can also be stored on the front of the wings.
A look at his articulation is shown in the video.
Overall, Hasbro’s Transformers Studio Series ’86 line has been a dream come true for fans that want G1 accurate figures, and this line has not disappointed! Swoop is no exception and this is the most accurate figure of this character ever released, so you’re definitely going to want to own him and other figures from this line! He also completes the Dinobots, which are essential figures in any Transformers collection. You can buy him and additional figures now at BigBadToyStore.
