Storm Shadow is getting a new Camouflage version (also referred to as version 2) offered in their 6″ G.I. Joe Classified line, and is inspired from his 1988 release as an o-ring figure. This version is notable for the new outfit, including a hood and charcoal gray/almost black deco. As he is not part of the Retro carded line, he has been given some new elements, such as a skirt, a belt with double sheath on his hip for the swords, and chest armor, which are all new for this version of him.

Storm Shadow is packaged in a window box with beautifully done artwork on the front, with images on the side and on the back. He comes in plastic tray along with his accessories.
Storm Shadow is inspired from his 1988 release offered in o-ring style, and given some modern updates as he is not part of the Retro carded line. This includes a new skirt with a belt with a double sheath for the swords, and some new chest armor. He comes in a white ninja outfit with charcoal gray/almost black deco that has a pattern throughout the outfit. The torso has a rope around it, and the boots also have shin guards, which are a light grey, with black and white boots, with red stripes.The skirt also has these colors as does the chest armor. There is also a sculpted texture throughout the outfit.
The head sculpt is given a hood, with a non-removable mask covering his entire head, with the exception of his eyes, which are the only parts of the head that you see.
The backpack quiver can store the katana’s on the sides, and the compound bow on the back.
Included with Storm Shadow are 2 katana swords, a compound bow, a backpack quiver, three sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted, open grip, and karate chop), and 2 swords.
The katana’s are all-new and are light grey with red handles, and can be stored in the sheaths connected to the belt, which is connected to the skirt.
The compound bow is what you’d expect in the 6″ line, and can be held in either open grip hand. It can also be stored on the backpack.
The claws are my personal favorite accessory as this is a great accessory for any G.I. Joe ninja. These fit in his open grip hands.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, swivel-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
A comparison with Retro carded Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow gives you a look at the uniqueness of this sculpt and likeness of the figure. The swords are also new compared to his first release, and in my opinion are better.
Overall, Storm Shadow is given a great sculpt that is modernized and is a great additions to the Classified 6″ line. I personally love this design for the character and am thrilled to see him being offered.
