The Iron Grenadier B.A.T. joins Hasbro’s G.I. Joe Classified 6″ line-up, and is making his debut as an action figure in the 6″ Classified Series line. The Iron Grenadier faction in the Cobra ranks are Destro’s personal troopers, and are notable black, gold and red. This includes these B.A.T.’s troopers, and even Metal-Head was released as part of this faction in this line.

The Iron Grenadier B.A.T. is packaged in a window box, with artwork logo’s and images.
The Iron Grenadier B.A.T. reuses parts from previous offered Cobra B.A.T. figures, including the standard B.A.T, Crimson B.A.T., and the Arctic B.A.T. What is all-new about this release is the color scheme, which pays tribute to Destro’s Iron Grenadiers. The B.A.T. is primarily in black with sculpted textures on the black parts of the outfit, and even the strap around the left thigh. He is also metallic gold, red, with grey on the sides of the robot head with the red faceplate. There is also an Iron Grenadier logo on the left shoulder.
He comes with two interchangeable heads and clear chest plates, all are unique. Both styles of the head have their own distinguished design, with only the black, red and grey one being his classic. The other head is taken from the Arctic B.A.T. (not featured in this review). The chest plates come as normal, and battle damaged, and to place it on you need to snap it form the bottom, and then snap it into the top part. Otherwise it won’t stay in place.
The backpack can store two attachments on the back, and the chainsaw on the side.
The Chainsaw is also taken from the Arctic B.A.T. and like the other attachments, plugs into his wrists.
Also included are all of the same attachments that came wit the first B.A.T., including a claw, laser, blowtorch, and a handgun that can fit into his hands, and placed in the holster that is connected to the belt and the strap on the left thigh.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, swivel-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall the Iron Grenadier B.A.T is an excellent figure and a great offering to Destro’s ranks. The new deco, weapons and character likeness looks great and this is surely a character you’re going to want to buy multiples of. He is listed
