Quick-Pick joins Super7’s ThunderCats Ultimates line, which is part of wave 10 that also includes Young Lion-O, Snarfer, and Mumm-Ra (Dream Master). Quick-Pick is a master thief, pick pocketer and master escape artist. He is a green skinned robot who has tongs for hands, which he uses for his thievery. He’s also polite, kind hearted and has aided both Lion-O and Pandora.

Quick-Pick is packaged in the standard Ultimates! window box packaging, with logo’s, an image on the back as well as a description.
Quick-Pick is inspired from his appearance in the mid-1980’s ThunderCats series, which ran from 1985-1989, and makes his action figure debut just like many other ThunderCats characters in the Ultimates line. Quick-Pick is a green skinned alien robot that appeared in at least two episodes of the cartoon, including ” Mandora – The Evil Chaser,” and “Mandora and the Pirates.” This character has a very distinguished design and this figure does a really good job capturing that likeness. The skin-tone is mostly a light green, with some darker green on the sides, crotch, and knees. He is dressed in a long black soft plastic coat with red trim on the top and sleeves, and an orange fabric scarf that has a wire in place to hold it closed. He also has purple socks, and metallic silver shoes.
The three head sculpts all look great, and includes open, closed mouths, and a bald head with his antenna’s showing. The facial details all look great including the long beak, and black eyes that bring out the characters likeness extremely well. In the episode “Mandora – The Evil Chaser,” there is a scene where Quick-Pick lifts up his hat with more than two antenna’s (at least 4-6), but unfortunately the hat that comes separately cannot be placed on the top of these antenna’s.
Quick-Pick also includes four sets of interchangeable hands/tongs. Each set is a little different, such as a closed, or open grip.
It may be too difficult to tell in this picture, but one set of hands/tongs has a bolt where the purple circle is located on the wrist. There is also the difference in one of these is a permanently closed hand/tong, and the other can be opened a tiny bit.
As mentioned above, the hat cannot be placed on his head, but it can be held in one of his hands/tongs.
Snarf’s purse with the coin(s) inside is also included and inspired from the episode “Mandora – The Evil Chaser,” which is the episode that Quick-Pick first appears in and steals this and Lion-O’s sword.
A gold key is also included, and this is most likely from the episode “Mandora and the Pirates,” where Quick-Pick and other aliens are imprisoned on an astroid prison.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, Quick-Pick looks great and this is a really good figure capturing his likeness. The quality and attention to detail looks great and he fits in nicely with the rest of the line. Make sure to grab him and other figures now at BigBadToyStore!
