Hasbro is giving fans another opportunity to obtain the modern release of their Transformers Ramjet figure in their Legacy United line, which is ending with these final figures, as they are now moving into Age of the Primes. Ramjet is inspired from his 1980’s design and given modern articulation, detail and transforms from robot to jet, allowing him to be a formidable foe to the Autobots.
Thank you to BigBadToyStore for sending along Hasbro’s Transformers: Legacy United Leader G1 Universe Ramjet for review.
Availability: March 2025
Ramjet comes in a plastic-less box, with artwork, logo’s, and the back includes images of him, images of villains on the side, and images of him in both modes on the back.
Ramjet is ultimately the same figure that was released in the War for Cybertron: Earthrise line in 2020, with one minor difference that was probably unintentional. This figure is a retool of the Starscream mold, and comes in his classic white, black, and red, with some metallic gold, and an acrylic orange glass covering the cockpit in jet mode. The new parts on Ramjet include the new conehead head sculpt based on the original design, and given some new pivoting ankles, which is part of the new retool.
His head sculpt is a conehead, with a dark metallic grey face, red eyes, white and black.
The blasters can be plugged into the sides on his shoulders, or placed in his hands in robot mode, which are his primary weapons.
Comparing him to the Earthrise release, you can see that this is ultimately the same figure, but the only difference is the shade of orange for the windshield, which is darker compared to the brighter orange offered in 2020.
A comparison of other Seeks gives you a look at how Ramjet stands out, including Sandstorm, ThunderCracker, Skywarp and Starscream.
The F-15 fighter jet looks great and represents and has a really good likeness to the source material. There are Decepticon logo’s on the wings, and the blasters can plug in under the wings.
Overall, Ramjet is an essential character to the line given he’s a Seeker, and supposedly this is an easier to find figure than 2020’s offering. You are definitely going to want to add this one to your collection. Make sure to grab it now at BigBadToyStore!
