Mattel is offering a new wave of their Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia line, which includes Beast Man, King Randor and Roboto. King Randor is He-Man’s father, ruler of Eternia and the brother of Keldor. The New Eternia line is a modern update to the classic designs of the characters, and given new features and accessories not offered before. King Randor is notably given some grey hair for the first-time, which shows his age compared to a younger King Randor seen in the Filmation series.

King Randor is packaged in a window box, with artwork of the character on the front and right side, Queen Marlene and reptilian characters, and the back includes images of the figure, a description and a look at the rest of the wave.
King Randor joins the New Eternia sub-line in Masterverse, which pays tribute to the characters 80’s designs, and is given new elements and accessories. He comes in a red torso with sculpted details, metallic gold armor on the chest, belt, boots, left arm, bracelets, and collar. There are also metallic blue gems on various places of the armor, including the belt, armor on the arm, and crown. The pants are light orange, and overlapping them at the hips is a soft plastic red leather piece, and the boots are brown with the armor over them with straps. There are also various sculpted textures, and the boot armor is removable. The cape is a blue soft fabric goods, and non-removable.
Included are two interchangeable crowns, which one giving him a bald head, which is something he’s never had before! The other one has brown sculpted hair attached, which is seen on the sides and back. Both crowns are metallic gold, with the blue gems. The facial hair is also nicely done, and his beard is given light grey hair on the front.
King Randor also includes a staff, with a blue gem and a crown on top, and a sword, that has a metallic silver blade, metallic gold handle and a blue gem.
Both accessories can combine to form a long bladed staff, which he can hold in both hands.

Overall, King Randor is an excellent figure that fans are sure to love. There is some great attention to detail on the sculpt, including the new elements such as the armor, grey hair, interchangeable crowns, and accessories.
