Hasbro is filling some more G.I. Joe ranks this year with the release of their Law & Order figures, which are inspired by their 1987 release in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero 3 3/4″ o-ring figure line, and given some new modern day elements and accessories. Christopher “Law” Lavinge is notable as feaurting the likeness of G.I. Joe Legends and his original toy sculptor Kirk Bozigian, a former Hasbro executive that worked on the brand, including one of the minds behind the 1982 relaunch of it, and was instrumental in bringing the cartoon, toy line and brand to life at the time, and worked on it through the end of its run in 1994.

Law & Order are packaged in a window box, with logo’s and artwork on all sides, images of the figures, and the back includes an action shot with some great toy photography.
Christopher “Law” Lavinge is inspired by his 1987 o-ring figure, but given some new elements and accessories in this new 6″ Classified figure offering. He comes in a similar outfit but with new mostly colors compared to his 1987 release, including a dark blue vest, with a darker blue deco where the sculpted texture is placed, a metallic gold police badge, sculpted pouches and a holster for the pistol, a radio attached to the vest and comes with a wire so he can hold it. He also comes in a red shirt, just as the vintage o-ring figure came in under the vest, green pants with sculpted pouches with straps on the left one, and a holster for the machine gun on the other. The pants also have sculpted knee pads, and he comes in black boots with some great sculpt details. He also has an arm band with the words MP K-9, meaning he’s teamed up with the K9 unit. He also has a green wrist band on the left, and a black watch on the right. His belt includes more pouches and sculpted accessories, including a flashlight and handcuffs that are non-removable, but also has a holster for the handcuffs that are included.
His head sculpt looks great and given some nicely done facial details, sculpted and painted eyes, lips and eye brows, and sculpted light brown hair. He includes a white helmet that fits perfectly, with the words MP on the forehead.
Order is a German Sheppard, and the likeness looks great as the sculpt and deco resembles the character. He comes in a green harness, which is non-removable, with the words MP K-9 on both sides, a handle on top, and he also has a collar with a handle and the word MPK-9 in the front. Order comes with two head sculpts, friendly and growling, which both look great, and he comes with goggles that can be placed over his eyes and loops around the ears.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball jointed neck, ball jointed hips x4, swivel-hinged knees x4, swivel-hinged ankles x4, and a swivel-hinged tail.
Included with Law is a nightstick, a knife, pistol, machine gun, handcuffs, helmet and a radio that is sculpted to the vest. All of the weapons except for the knife has a placed to be stored on the body, as shown in the last two images above. He also includes four sets of interchangeable hands (neutral, pointy finger, open grip, fisted fight hand, and open grip left hand).

His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, swivel-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
