Mainframe is packaged in a window box, with logo’s and artwork on all sides, an image of him on the side, and the back includes an action shot with some great toy photography.
Mainframe is inspired by his 1986 o-ring G.I. Joe figure and comes in an updated outfit that’s modern for this new era of figures, and some new accessories. He comes in his vintage-inspired grey and black outfit, with a harness that is placed over the torso, a black belt, a sheath for the knife on the right hip, a sheath for the pistol on the harness that rotates around, a holster for the radio on his left thigh, black knee pads, black boots, black gloves, a device on his left wrist, yellow and red rope on the back of the belt, and some metallic silver deco on the devices on the front of the harness, belt buckle, and device on the wrist. The o-ring figure has some of this detail, but it was sculpted to the body. He also has a red insignia on his left shoulder.
He includes two head sculpts, both with black hair black eye lashes, and nicely done facial details. The head with the hat includes an insignia on the front, and a headset communicator sculpted over the hat, and the speaker part is in-front of his mouth.
The head has a helmet that can also be placed over it, which is black with an insignia on the front.
Also included is a knife, pistol, a laptop that folds and comes with a screen and keyboard with a chip that is removable on the side (used for hacking).
His vintage toy inspired backpack with a cord is also included, and has a scanning device attached to it, and this scanning device can also be stored on the side of the backpack. A hacking device is also included that he can hold.
His articulation includes a ball jointed, swivel-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, ball jointed waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall Mainframe is an excellent figure and a great offering to add to the G.I. Joe ranks. The attention to detail, weapons and character design looks great and this is surely a character you’re going to want add to the collection. Make sure to grab him now at BigBadToyStore!
