Wet-Suit is inspired by his vintage 1986 G.I. Joe o-ring figure released by Hasbro and given some new elements to give him a modern update in the Classified line. He is an underwater demolitions expert  and is a SEAL responsible for underwater missions on behalf the G.I. Joe team to fight Cobra.

Wet-Suit is packaged in a window box, with logo’s and artwork on all sides, an image of him on the side, and the back includes an action shot with some great toy photography.

Wet-Suit is inspired by his 1986 o-ring figure and given some new updates and elements that’s modernized for the 6″ Classified line. The scuba diver outfit is similar to his 1986 vintage toy, using a lot of the same colors, including the red shark on his upper right side. He comes in his teal and white outfit, with a grey harness with black pouches, grey holsters on his thighs for the knife and pistol, and black boots. He also has a watch on his left wrist, and a band on the right. The upper arms also have grey straps with black pouches on them as well.

His head sculpt is new as the vintage o-ring figure had a non-removable mask, so this is part of the new offering in design with the character. He is given brown sculpted hair, and nicely done facial details.

Wet-Suit includes a pistol and a knife, which can be stored in the holsters on his hips.

Wet-Suit is fully loaded in his scuba suit and diving gear, which is also in a lot of the same colors, being orange and black as the 1986 vintage figure. He comes in his classic-inspired scuba tank, sea sled, which can be stored underneath the scuba tank, flippers, a mask and mouth piece.  The tubes can plug into the mask and the back of the scuba tank.

The suit perfectly fits and is all-new sculpting. He can also hold the sea sled and the searchlight can be placed in his hand, or the rope can be placed around his wrist as he swims.

His articulation includes a ball jointed, swivel-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, ball jointed waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles.

A comparison with Lt. Torpedo shows that Wet-Suit is a new sculpt, with differences in the scuba gear and suit.

Overall, Wet-Suit is an excellent figure and a great offering to add to the G.I. Joe ranks. The attention to detail, weapons and character design looks great and this is surely a character you’re going to want add to the collection. Make sure to grab him now at BigBadToyStore!
