Lootcrate DX subscribers were treated to a special Reactor Glow Godzilla 12″ Head-To-Tail exclusive figure that was only available through the subscription. NECA fans were also treated to a three month early release of the Jungle Demon Predator. If you missed out on this box, you can still get the Jungle Demon Predator figure, which will be available in different packaging soon. You can pre-order this figure now on Entertainment Earth and BigBadToyStore.
The Reactor Glow Godzilla is an exclusive that is only available through Lootcrate, and now you best bet to obtain one will be third party sellers such as Amazon and eBay.
Thank you to Lootcrate for providing their March 2017 DX box, which included the NECA Toys Reactor Glow Godzilla 12″ Head-To-Tail Figure.

Godzilla stands at roughly 6 3/4″ tall and measures 12″ head-to-tail. He is a repaint of the Burning Godzilla figure from 2015, and features a glow-in-the-dark deco that is extremely nicely done. The glow-in-the-dark deco is seen on his chest, arms, legs, and upper back and there is enough deco there to really get him to light up in a dark room. The head sculpt is beautifully detailed and includes a hinged jaw, with an almost realistic looking mouth and teeth. The eyes are painted in the glow-in-the-dark deco around the edges, with yellow pupils and black eye balls. The overall figure sculpt is covered in sculpted texture, and there are several different textures throughout the body that give it an authentic, but not exactly film accurate look.
There is some additional deco on the toe nails, that have a hint of blue, and the back of the tail that has a white wash over the top part of it, and some white wash over the first finn with the glow-in-the-dark deco. The deco is extremely nicely detailed with clean lines in the smallest bit of detail, just as what you would come to expect of NECA Toys. The glow-in-the-dark green has a nice, vibrant and semi-translucent color to it, and has a strong enough glow to it to really makes him stand out. What is also interested is that the glow features match the paint mask used for the burning paint in the 2015 release. The joints are also tighter than the previous edition, with the exception of the head sculpt keep popping off (if you look at the packaging image, you will see Godzilla has no head, meaning it fell off in package, and several times out of package while photographing it).
Overall, this is great exclusive to introduce to Lootcrate DX and NECA Toys have once again offered a great looking figure with excellent quality and detail. While we don’t normally collect Godzilla figures, this one however is truly something unique and special and worthy to add to your collection.
