Earlier today, Diamond Select Toys released official product details and some images of the first wave of the Ghostbusters II Select series. That article can be found HERE. Following up from that, DST sent us an official first-look at the Firehouse diorama that will come with the new line. The diorama breaks down in 15 pieces, with 15 figures coming in 5 different waves. Each figure will include a piece to build the diorama. The Firehouse diorama stands at 15″ tall, 21.6″ wide, and 6″ depth.
As to which characters will be included in this new line, we had a look into wave 1 earlier today, which included Vigo the Carpathian, Ray Stanz in a Santa Claus hat, and Louis Tully in a Ghostbusters uniform. As for the others, we would suggest to look at what Mattel did with their Ghostbusters II line, which included variants of each of the Ghostbusters in Santa hats, Courtroom Ray (with ghost), Courtroom Egon and Courtroom Peter (with ghost), and others. There is no word if DST will expand Ghostbusters II to include characters from the video game, such as The Rookie as Mattel did with their line-up on Mattycollector.
