Jakks Pacific Incredibles 2 Elastigirl & Elasticycle, Incredibile Car & Mr. Incredible Review

Jakks Pacific Incredibles 2 Elastigirl & Elasticycle, Incredibile Car & Mr. Incredible Review

Jakks Pacific is offering a new 3″ scale (or Imaginext style) line based on Pixar’s upcoming Incredibles 2 feature film that will be released on June 15th, 2018, which takes place after the events of the first film. The Incredible Car is the vehicle used by Mr. Incredible, which is a sports car with rotating flames in the back, two firing projectiles, and rotating tires. The Elasticycle is a motorcycle for Eastigirl, which can seat her, and baby Jack Jack or another figure in the detachable side car, and features a firing projectile.

The Incredible 2 follows the adventures of the Parrs, a family of Supers (humans with super abilities). The Parrs include the father, Bob, also known as Mr. Incredible who possesses super strength, Helen, his wife also known as Elastigirl for the ability to stretch her body, and their children Violet, who can become invisible and project force fields, Dash, who possesses super speed, and Jack-Jack, their infant who can transform into a number of forms. The sequel will start “a minute” after the end of the first film, where the Parrs are just about to face the Underminer.

Right now, fans can purchase the entire line on Amazon.com.

The Incredibile Car is a sports car convertible with a turbo speed design to it. On the rear of the car are turbo jets and a rotating flame that allows it to go much faster than an average car. The body of the car has an interesting design, as the front end is wider, and shortens as it goes back. The car is mostly painted in black with blue on the hood, which opens up to reveal two missile launchers by pressing the seat down, and the missiles fire by pressing the red power button on the hood. The car is also painted with silver headlights, a dark grey bumper, grey tire rims, and a red seat. This is also a one seater, so only Mr. Incredible or another figure can be seated at a time. The windshield is made of clear acrylic, with a black flame around it to hold it into place.

Mr. Incredible himself is the same figure as offered in the box set and 2-packs, and there are no differences in paint or in the costume in this release. The figure stands at 3″ tall and has a great likeness to his animated counterpart. The costume is painted in red with black gloves, boots, and the incredibles logo on his chest. The head sculpt has a mask over the eyes, and blonde hair.

The Elasticycle is a motorcycle for Elastigirl, with an added detachable side car for Jack Jack or another figure. The motorcycle and side car are mostly painted in red, and features rotating wheels, and a firing projectile in the front. The design looks to be a sports bike that is designed to go fast to bring the hero to a a destination in a hurry. Elastigirl is only meant to be seating leaning forward with her legs touching the white foot rests in the back, and standing her upright can be tricky as her legs don’t bend the way they should to fit on the bike any other way. The Elastigirl logo is located on both sides of the bike. Both of the wheels on the bike turn, as does the wheels on the side car, which is detachable so that Jack Jack or another hero can go a separate way, but there is no way to steer this so it doesn’t entirely make sense to us. The head and handlebars are painted in silver, and the control is a sticker that is already applied. The bike comes with two missiles, with only one can be fired. The side car has a clear acrylic windshield, and mostly looks like a wheel barrow.

Eastigirl has a slightly different costume in this release, which is painted in dark grey, black, with some brown on the legs, a red belt, and a red logo on her chest. Her face is also masked around the eyes, and she has brown hair.

Overall, the Incredibile Car and Elasticycle are fun vehicles with great features that both kids and adults will love. We especially like designs that make it look like they can go somewhere fast in the event of an emergency, which as a superhero is common. The only thing we would change is to have the side car for Eastigirl has a steering wheel and a turbo jet in the back so that it looks less like a wheel barrow.
