Disney Store Exclusive Pixar Toy Box Incredibles 2 – Violet Figure Review

Disney Store Exclusive Pixar Toy Box Incredibles 2 – Violet Figure Review

The Disney Store is expanding their Pixar Toy Box offerings with figures of Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, as well as Violet, and these figures are re-engineered and articulated to resemble the Disney Infinite video game as well as the upcoming Incredibles 2 feature film. In the game, franchises could interact throughout all of Disney’s properties such as Marvel, Star Wars and Disney/Pixar characters. Fans of that game can now collect highly detailed and articulated figures based on those designs. Violet was released along with Marvel’s Doctor Strange.

Recently, Disney Store announced additional Incredibles 2 characters that will be included to the Toy Box line-up, which includes Dash and Frozone, and these will be available at sometime in 2018.

Thank you to Disney and The Disney Store for providing their Exclusive Pixar Toy Box Incredibles 2 – Violet figure for review.

Availability: June 2018 – Disney Store Exclusive

These Incredibles figures are incredible themselves, and Disney is offering Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible (Elastigirl), both reviewed HERE, along with Voilet, and each comes with different versions of Jack Jack. If you’ve been a fan of the Incredibles since the first film launched in 2004 in theaters, you will be aware that no one has made figures like these before, and fans looking to buy some movie accurate figures that are highly detailed and articulation will be more than happy with these new Pixar Toy Box figures that the Disney Store is now carrying.

Since 2004, we’ve been waiting for figures such as these as we were fans of the original film and even the original toyline that Hasbro offered weren’t up to our standards. At the time, the market was finding itself and not too many companies were making highly detailed and articulated figures like these, and we are happy to see the industry finally find itself and offer something like this for the Incredibles.

Violet is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, and she has the power of Invisibility Force field generation and manipulation. This is the exact same power of the Marvel’s Fantastic Four Invisible Woman, for those of you that need a refresher as the character just came back home to Marvel. This figure makes a great representation of the character, as she is re-enginerred from his appearance in Disney Infinity video game and Incredibles 2. Violet stands at 4 1/4″ tall and is thin and lean as seen in the film. Her head sculpt has a black mask over her eyes and long black hair that has an orange head band over it. Her facial details are nicely done with a closed mouth with a grin. She is painted in her Incredibles superhero outfit that is painted in red and black, with the Incredibles logo on her chest. Above her shorts are a an orange belt that matches the orange used in the logo, and lighter than the headband. Her articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel wrists, waist rotation, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, and hinged ankles.

Violet includes Jack Jack in his monster form, and like the previous two versions, he is a PVC figure on a stand. The monster form is nicely sculpted and looks just like her does in the film. The skin is painted in purple and this form could pass as something seen in the Pixar film Monsters Inc. The head sculpt and deco is nicely done, and he has a beige hair sticking straight up, beige eye brows, big yes, teeth and a tongue painted in red. The monster version of Jack Jack is wearing a white diaper, and parts of him including the hai, arms, lower legs, ears, mouth and the stand are made of a soft plastic.

Overall, Violet and the Monster version of Jack Jack as well as Mr. and Mrs. Incredible are excellent figures with great likenesses to the video game as well as the film. We can assure fans of the films, Disney Infinity and the Toy Box line will be very happy with these figures. These are the figures that fans like us have been waiting a long time for.
