Mattel – WWE Elite Collection Survivor Series Bobby Roode Figure Review

Mattel is offering three new WWE Elite figures based on their appearances in the Survivor Series, and are exclusively available at Wal-Mart. This wave includes AJ StylesAlexa Bliss and Bobby Roode. Each action figure features Elite articulation, unique accessories and True FX facial deco detail.

Thank you to Mattel for providing their WWE Elite Collection Survivor Series Bobby Roode Figure for review.

Availability: December 2018

Bobby Roode is packaged in the standard window box as seen with other modern WWE Elite figures by Mattel, with images, including the Survivor Series logo on the front, of him on the left side, and an action shot of him on the back along with a brief bio. Also shown are the other figures available in this wave.

Bobby Roode comes with his Survivor Series logo ring attire that is made of fabric with velcro in the back to keep it closed. Once removed, the figure is ready to wrestle and comes in his brown shorts with the word Roode in the front with silver dots above it, and Glorious in the back in red and yellow and silver dots around the lettering. His knee pads are also brown with silver dots on the front, and are made with soft plastic. His wrist bands are painted on with the same brown deco as the shorts and knee pads, and his boots are in black with sculpted shoe laces and wrinkles.

The body sculpt is muscular as you’ve seen with many of the WWE superstars, with some details such as veins on his biceps. The details in the muscles are nicely done, including the stomach muscles, which has the ab crunch joint that does take away some of the detail.

His head sculpt is nicely done with dark brown hair, a beard, goatee and mustache that is washed over the face. His eyes also have some nicely done paint applications and include the eye balls and eye brows with no paint bleeding and a realistic look.

His articulation includes a ball jointed neck, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, hinged elbows, swivel wrists, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, hinged knees, swivel calves, and hinged ankles.

Overall, Bobby Roode is an excellent figure and we especially love the paint applications on the outfit, and facial details.. This wave was available in December 2018, and we’ve been told that it’s a difficult wave to come by, as we ourselves never had seen this wave in stores. If you ever happen to find these figures in stores, don’t miss the opportunity and make sure to pick it up while you can.
