Diamond Select Toys – Marvel Select Avengers: Endgame Nano- Gauntlet Hulk Figure Review

Diamond Select Toys latest Marvel Select offering if the Nano- Gauntlet Hulk as seen in Avengers: Endgame. In the film, Hulk was betrayed as “Smart Hulk,” which is more Bruce Banner than Hulk as fans will recall in the comics, and the character was less “Hulk Smash” and more brains. A lot of fans actually believe that the portrayal of Hulk in the film hurt the movie, given how great the character was done in the 2012 film, this new portrayal apparently didn’t quite live up to everyone’s expectations. However, Avengers: Endgame was still a great film, and everyone can expect more great movies coming from Marvel for the foreseeable future. In celebration of the film, Diamond Select Toys released this great Marvel Select Incredible Hulk figure with a great likeness and one of the best figures offered on the market of this version of the hulk.

Thank you to Diamond Select Toys for providing their Marvel Select Avengers: Endgame Nano- Gauntlet Hulk Figure for review.

Availability: January 2020

Nano Gauntlet Hulk is packaged in the standard Marvel Select packaging, with the Avengers: Endgame artwork on the side, and an image of him on the back along with a brief bio.

Nano Gauntlet Hulk is based on his appearance in the final showdown with Thanos, where he uses the Infinity Stones to bring back everyone that Thanos had killed at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. The figure is massive, bulky, and has some weight to him as a Hulk figure should be, and the attention to detail on this figure is incredible. There is a similar version of this figure offered right now at The Disney Store, which we will be checking out and reviewing shortly.

The figure stands at roughly 8-3/4″ tall and has a sculpted texture on his suit, which gives is a rough feeling. The suit is a dark and light grey, dark and light purple that covers almost his entire body with the exception of his hands and fingers, feet, head and neck. The textures are pretty consistent throughout the outfit, which also has some sculpted patterns, grooves and designs.

His head sculpt is nicely done with a great likeness, nicely done facial details, and black hair with a grey wash over it to show he’s aging. The skin tone is also pretty good and consistent from his head, neck, hands and feet.

In the movie, there were two Infinity Gloves, one designed for Iron Man, and the other for Thanos, and both have the Infinity Stones in them. The one for Thanos was included with the Marvel Select Avengers: Endgame Thanos figure that we reviewed last week, and like Thanos, this Infinity Glove is part of the interchangeable left forearm for Hulk, whereas Thanos had a right interchangeable forearm. The deco on this is great, with metallic colors that really makes it shine.

Aside from the forearm, he also comes with three sets of interchangeable hand sculpts.

Nano-Gauntlet Hulk is also fully articulated as you would expect, and includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.

Overall, Nano-Gauntlet Hulk is an incredible figure and a great addition to the Marvel Select Avengers line. What sets him apart other than the suit and film likeness is the Infinity Gauntlet that is offered with this release, which you defiantly need to have in your collection. Look for him in stores now, and you can find him at our sponsors below:
