Luminara Unduli served on the Jedi council during the last years of the Galactic Republic and commanded the 41st Elite Corps of the Grand Army of the Republic during The Clone Wars. She is a Force-sensitive Jedi Master and served on the Jedi Council. She fought in numerous battles during The Clone Wars, including the start of the Clone Wars, which took place on Geonosis during Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. That film is what she is based off her, as she and her Padawan, Barriss Offee joined Jedi Master Mace Windu in a rescue mission to save Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.

Luminara Unduli comes in a window box, with the standard The Black Series 6″ packaging design, an image of her on the side, an image and a description on the back.
Luminara Unduli is offered in the 6″ line for the first-time, and is inspired from 2002’s Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. She comes in a purple and back fabric outfit, with a fabric purple Jedi cloak, a fabric black skirt, a plastic purple long sleeve shirt with sculpted wrinkles, purple pants underneath the black fabric skirt, and black boots. The purple shirt and pants are different shades of purple. She also has a metallic gold decorative piece on the top part of the shirt, a brown belt with two metallic gold circular decorative pieces with sculpted textures. Her forearms have brown gauntlets with metallic gold and bronze deco that are decorative, and attached to the belt is a long plastic decorative part of the outfit, with metallic gold and bronze patterns, details and designs.
Her head sculpt is nicely done and features a great likeness to the source material, and also pays a likeness to Actress Mary Oyaya, who portrayed the character in the film. The head piece is non-removable and sculpted to the head, and the sides are made of a soft plastic. Her skin tone is light green, with brown lips on top, brown lip on the bottom, and a black tattoo on her chin.
Included is a green lightsaber, with a metallic silver and gold accents hilt.
Her articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles.
A comparison shows Luminara Unduli with some additional figures, included her 3 3/4″ The Vintage Collection offering. The details on the outfit in this scale are better than what’s come before, given the larger size and more room to sculpt and paint those details.
Overall, Luminara Unduli is an excellent figure and a great likeness to the source material. It’s always great to have more Jedi Masters in the line and this one surely does not disappoint. The likeness and attention to detail looks great, and she make a great addition to the line.
