Hasbro Transformers: Age of the Primes Voyager Class Autobot Red Alert Figure Review

Hasbro continues to roll out some popular characters in their Transformers: Age of the Primes line, which offers characters from a number of Transformers characters from the multiverse. Red Alert  is inspired from Transformers: Armada, in 2003, otherwise known as the show with a lot of animation mistakes. Red Alert is a modern update to the vintage 2003 toy. This release marks the first-time that the character does not include his mini-con partner, Longarm, but he does have some 5mm posts that should be compatible with the original mini-con figures.

Red Alert is packaged in a window box with artwork that’s seen I the Age pf the Primes line, with images of Red Alert on the front, left side, images of Primes on the right, and images of Red Alert in both modes on the back. Included is a sheet of instructions that is shown in the video above.

Red Alert is inspired from 2003’s Transformers Armada, and based on his appearance in the cartoon. This is an updated version of the Armada design, and the action features given to the vintage toy has been replaced by updated articulation. He comes in cartoon colors, including light and dar blue, white, black, red, light and dark grey. There’ s also yellow on the headlights, a red Autobot logo on the hood, and sides of the door in vehicle mode. There are also 5mm ports that are compatible with older mini-con figures.

Both of the red attachments that can be stored in compartments in these parts here that are connected to the back of the legs that is also viewable from the back.

His head sculpt includes a visor, with a blue helmet and light grey mouth.

He includes a total of three attachments, a claw attachment that can fit on his left wrist, or cannon blaster, and 2 red blast pieces that can also fit on the left wrist or in the cannon blaster. His shoulder cannon can also be placed on his shoulder.

His vehicle mode is an off road ambulance with the Autobot logo and the Red Cross on the sides, an Autobot logo on the hood, and rotating tires. The cannon blaster can also be raised up and used against Decepticons.
