Hasbro Transformers Age of the Primes Deluxe Class The Thirteen Alchemist Prime Figure

 

The Thirteen Primes continue in Hasbro’s Transformers: Age of the Primes line, which will see each of these characters, and this review focuses on Alchemist Prime as part of the new deluxe offerings. The figure is inspired from his Cyberverse appearance but in the Marvel bartender look as seen in the comics. The head brings his Marvel, Covenant of Primus and Cyberverse designs to the face and this is where the inspiration comes for his mustache and goggles.

Alchemist Prime is a deluxe sized figure and comes in dark green, charcoal, black, metallic silver and gold. His design lies heavily on his Cyberverse designs, with colors that pay tribute to his Marvel bartender appearance, and his Marvel, Covenant of Primus and Cyberverse designs come together in the face to create a new distinctive mustache and goggles.

He comes with his Lenses, which can be split apart to be used as blades or placed together. One of the lenses features his personal emblem and the Ancient Autobot symbol as first seen in “Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4,” and the other has the insignia of Unicron as first seen in Beast Wars Neo.

He transforms into an armored car, which looks the part nicely. There’s a lot of great sculpted details into this design, including rotating tires, and the lenses can be placed on the top individually, and cannot be combined and then placed on top.
