Silverbolt is the Commander of the Aerialbots and serves as the chest to form Superion. Silverbolt transformers into a Jet, and in this mode his nosecone has the ability to be angled downward, which represents the real-world plane and pays tribute to the transformation sequence as seen in the Transformers Generation 1 cartoon of the 1980’s.

Silverbolt is packaged in a box with artwork that’s seen in the Age pf the Primes line, with images of them on the front, left side, images of Primes on the right, and images in both modes on the back. Included is a sheet of instructions that is shown in the video above.
Silverbolt’s vehicle mode is a jet, which features a nosecone that can be angled-downward, and the cockpit can seat a Titan Master figure, but cannot close with one inside. The jet includes Autobot logo’s on the wings, landing gear that’s featured in the video (embedded above), and the later can be placed underneath the cockpit. There are also some additional parts (a booster) that can be used for this mode, and these parts are also the framework for Superion. This part makes the jet bulkier in the back, and are also used as the base/battle station mode. The other blaster can be placed on the back of this, as shown.
The jet is mostly light grey, yellow, red, metallic gold windows for the passengers and pilots, and black.
When transforming Silverbolt, care must be taken with Superion’s horns, as they’re on the fragile side. Superion’s head is placed inside the chest, and must be positioned just so the horns can fit into their dedicated locations on the inside of the chest plate. These horns are also made of a soft plastic, and can also be removed from the sides of the head.
Silverbolt’s robot mode pays a great likeness to his Generation 1 cartoon appearance, and are the same colors as the jet mode. The sides of the torso are left unpainted plastic, which is not cartoon-accurate as they should be the same color as the thighs. He includes an Autobot logo on the right side of his chest, hinged wings, which also have Autobot logo’s on the back.
His head sculpt looks great and has a metallic silver face, blue eyes, and a grey helmet.
Included with Silverbolt are two blasters, with the small one being able to be stored on his back.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, hinged elbows, swivel-hinged hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, and hinged ankles. The wings are also hinged.
The Battle Station mode makes up the torso for Superion, and is also swappable with the one for Motormaster, but the figures that attach to them are not compatible with each others parts. In this mode, the longest blaster can be placed on top, and is used as a shield for Silverbolt and other Autobots during battle.
Overall, Silverbolt is a great modern updates to the 1980’s Transformers Generation 1 animated series and toy line, and they did a really good job capturing his likeness and combiner ability.
