Asajj Ventress was a Dathomirian Nightsister that served as Count Dooku’s apprentice and assassin during The Clone Wars. When Dooku abandoned her under the orders Darth Sidious, she rejoined the Nightsisters only to witness and aided Mother Talzin’s plots against the Sith and to assassinate Dooku. In response, General Grievous led the droid army to massacre the Nightsisters. She then wondered the galaxy and became a bounty hunter, and after a series of events, she and Jedi Master Quinlan Vos fell in love. She would later sacrifice herself to save Quinlan Vos and embraced the light.
Asajj Ventress was honored for her sacrifice by the Jedi Council, and returned to her clan’s village on Dathomir by Quinlan Vos and Kenobi. As her body sank into the waters, Ventress entered the spirit world, where she heard the voice of Mother Talzin. She offered to return Ventress to the land of the living at the cost of giving up her heart’s desire. Ventress decided to do just that, stepping back into life, which led to some time had gone by and the galaxy was controlled by The Empire.

Asajj Ventress is packaged on a standard blister box for The Vintage Collection, with logo’s and an image of her not he front, and the back includes an image of the figure, the blister card, and a description.
It’s been a long time coming to get a Clone Wars version of Asajj Ventress, and Hasbro has not disappointed fans. She is given both plastic and soft goods as clothing, including a blue fabric skirt that covers the hips and legs, along with a decorative fabric piece in front of it that is purple and gold. Holding this in place is a belt, and a belt buckle with two holes that you can plug in the hilts into to store them on the body in the front, which has not been offered before on previous Asajj Ventress action figures in any scale.
Her shirt is purple with the chest and back showing skin, and the torso is given light purple wrappings, which is also featured on the forearms as that is dark and light purple, and also makes the forearms look thicker with how this is sculpted. The legs are light purple, and given the same textures as the light purple on the torso, and forearms.
Her head sculpt looks great and they did a great job with the photo realistic design of the character with a realistic representation. The facial details look great, and she also has the tattoos on the back and sides of her head.
Her articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
The hilts can be stored on the belt buckle as shown, held in her hands, and combined and also held in her hand.
Also included are two lightsabers, which she can hold individually, and they also connect as seen in the series.
Overall, Asajj Ventress is an excellent offering is a great figure and a great addition to the Clone Wars portion of the line.
