The Stranger is a Force-Sensitive human that was trained in the ways of the Jedi and was cast out of the order, and fell to the Dark Side and trained by Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Plagueis in Disney Plus’ live-action series The Acolyte, which had one season in 2024. The series was cancelled before its time, with apparently low viewership and high production costs, but there is chatter about a potential revival of the series. The series certainly had an interesting take, as it took place 100 years before the events of The Phantom Menace.

The Stranger is packaged on a blister card, with images and artwork on both sides, including a description on the back.
The Stranger comes in an all black outfit, with a fabric black cloak covering most of his body, which can be removed by popping off the head. The outfit itself is made of plastic, with a vest and baggy pants that have sculpted grooves and a texture, and the bark of the vest has some silver deco in an X shape. He is also given a belt that is over the vest, making it tighter to the body, with its own sculpted texture, and a hole on the side so that the lightsaber hilt can be plugged into it for storage. On his left forearm there’s a silver armor that has some nicely done sculpted details and looks battle damaged and worn.
Included are two lightsabers, short and long, a lightsaber hilt, a helmeted head sculpt, and a head sculpt based on the actors likeness. The actor’s head sculpt includes sculpted black hair, painted eyes, mouth and nicely done facial details. The likeness to Actor Manuel Luis Jacinto is really good given the small size of it, as Hasbro has certainly improved on this overtime. The helmeted head sculpt is fierce looking, with metallic light brown with a gold wash, along with silver deco, a very thin visor, and menacing looking silver teeth.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, The Stranger (Qimir) is a great addition to the line with an excellent likeness and sculpt. As he’s the primary antagonist in The Acolyte, this is an essential addition to the line and makes a great addition to your growing Sith collection. Make sure to grab him now at Entertainment Earth.
