The Mandalorian and Grogu film is a continuation of the Disney+ series, as it was decided by Lucasfilm to go this route over a fourth season due to delays in production and the current Hollywood Labor Strikes in 2023. The new film will see the return of these characters, along with various characters from the series, and This set is inspired by the new film, which includes both characters of other Star Wars media. This set is based on the new film, and is notable as being a deluxe set with Grogu capable or being plugged into the jetpack.

The Mandalorian and Grogu are packaged on a blister card, with images and artwork on both sides, including a description on the back.
The Mandalorian is a repaint of his existing sculpt used on previous figures, and he comes in his silver armor, dark blue, light brown, silver and blue. The strap over his torso is connected to the belt and holster for the pistol, and all of these parts are made of a soft plastic. He is also given silver shoulder pauldrons,, silver knee guards, silver gauntlets, and an ammo belt around his right calf. He’s also given a new soft goods cape, which is dark grey.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Included is an extra right hand that’s used for the blaster rifle, which can be placed in two heads. Just like previous figures had, the jetpack is also silver and can be placed on his back. There is however a retool on the side of this jetpack, alloying a newly tooled Grogu figure to be placed on the side of it as if he’e holding onto the jetpack.
Grogu has a hole on his chest allowing him to be plugged into the jetpack on the side. Grogu cannot stand on his own, and the only way to display him is to connect him to the jetpack given at how his legs are sculpted and non-articulated. He does however have a ball jointed head, so at least you can turn his head while on the jetpack.
Also included is a blaster, which can be placed inside the holster, a sword and a knife that he can hold. The right hand that he came with out of the package is best used for this blaster, while the other one is used for the rifle as shown above.
The Mandalorian is a repaint with some minor paint differences compared to his earlier releases, and a retooled jetpack. The soft goods cape is also a slightly different brown, also not torn this time around. The biggest difference between these two figures are the light brown used on the strap, boots, belt and holster for the pistol, along with the grey pads below the belt, as opposed to them being blue. The padding on his stomach is also a dark grey, as opposed to it being a light grey.
Overall, The Mandalorian and Grogu are a great addition to the line and since this is based on the new film and not the television series, there is enough newness here to warrant a new purchase. This is an excellent likeness and sculpt with a great likeness to their appearance in the upcoming film. Make sure to grab him now at
