The Nacelle Company are now offering the first wave of their highly anticipated Star Trek 1/10th Scale Figures. These are based on a number of different shows, including Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: Enterprise and more. Also shown is Cow Boys of Moo Mesa, and more. The first wave includes Jonathan Archer (Star Trek Enterprise), Captain Garret (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Midshipman Peter Preston (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan), Captain Sulu (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country), Captain Jellico (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Tuvix (Star Trek: Voyager), Valkris (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock), and Weyoun (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine).
Tuvix is a hybrid character that was created as a result of a transporter accident on the U.S.S. Voyager, where Lieutenant Tuvok and Nellie were combined along with an Symbiogenetic alien orchid that they collected. Their uniforms were also combined as a result of this incident. To get Took and Neelix back, Captain Janeway had to decide whether or not to allow Tuvix to live, or restore Tuvok and Neelix. She was left with a difficult decision, but ultimately brought her crewman back at the cost of Tuvix’s life.
Thank you to The Nacelle Company for sending along their Star Trek: Voyager – Tuvix figure for review.
Availability: April 2026
Tuvix is packaged in a window box with logo’s and artwork inspried by Star Trek: Voyager, including images of him on the sides, an image of him and the rest of the wave on the back along with a description.

Tuvix is a hybrid created by a transporter indecent, and is a combination of Tuvok and Neelix. His outfit is also a combination of the characters, bringing elements from both Tuvok’s Starfleet uniform, and Neelix’s Talaxian outfit. Tuvix comes in a black shirt, taking elements from the Starfleet uniform, with the bottom of it hanging around the hips like a skirt, taking elements from Nellie’s outfit. The top of the shirt has the yellow, and the Star Fleet badge, taking inspiration from Tuvok’s outfit, along with a pattern design, taking inspiration from Neelix’s outfit. The shirt is also given sculpted wrinkles and folds, making it look more realistic. The pants and shoes are black, taking inspiration from a Starfleet uniform.

He comes with two head sculpts, taking elements from both characters and species characteristics. The pointy ears are clearly that of a Vulcan, while the forehead, face and hair are taking from a Talaxian. The facial details look great and given some paint apps, such as the eyes and mouth, and the hair is black with a pony tail.
Tuvix is also fully articulated, and includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, and ball jointed ankles.

Tuvix comes with an Octagon-shaped carrying case used for storing things often times on away missions. This comes with a sculpted handle that can be placed over his torso, and is light grey, dark grey, silver and black. The case does not open, and makes an interesting accessory that you normally do not see included with Starfleet officers.

The Symbiogenetic alien orchid in a glass jar is what they brought back to the ship, and the cause of the transporter mishap. The flower itself comes with a green stem with leafs, a red and yellow rose, with a pink flower ready to bloom. the jar itself is acrylic, with a black bottom, and a silver top. This cannot open, and is meant to stay closed inside the jar.

The communicator can be held in his open grip hands, and has the sculpt, deco and detail of what it looks like on the series.

The phaser is a must for all Starfleet officers, and it also has a great sculpt, deco and design as what you saw on the series, and is also placed in his open grip hands. Also included are three sets of interchangeable hands, including open grip, closed fisted, and neutral.

Overall, The Nacelle Company have exceeded expectations with the first wave of their Star Trek figures, which has offerings from a variety of tv shows and films, bringing all of these characters together for the first-time. Tuvix is an obscure character from one episode of Star Trek: Voyager, and a figure that you didn’t know you needed to own until you have him. It just shows you that obscurity in a Star Trek line works, and I for one hope to see more like this from not only Voyager, but other shows as well. As someone that watched Star Trek: Voyager when it was on, there’s a lot of characters that had brief appearances and guest stars on the series that would work nicely in this line, such as Arturis (Species 116), Species 8472, Hirogen, Gedrin (Vaadwaur), Voth, Vidiian, along with other great choices. This is an excellent figure and likeness, and will make an excellent addition to your collection. Make sure to pick him up now!
