Each figure is packaged on a retro toy-inspired blister card, with artwork and logo’s on the front, images, a look at additional figures, and a description on the back.

Flash is inspired by the classic G.I. Joe Comic Book series, and comes in his green suit, with red and white trim harness on the chest and back, which also has dark blue stripes on the top of the shoulder straps. The biceps and upper thighs also have the red and white trim pads. He also comes in a light brown belt, gloves and boots. His head sculpt looks great and a good likeness to the source material, with red hair, and the typical facial details you would expect on a G.I. Joe o-ring figure.

Flash includes his vintage 1983 accessories, including the helmet with attached visor, Power Pack, Laser Rifle and the connector. These however are comic-inspired also, so there is a lot of newness to the sculpts, paint applications and design of the character not seen before in this scale. The rubber connector attaches to the Power Pack, and to the Laser Rifle, just like it did back in 1983.

The Hydro-Viper is also based on his Comic Book appearance, and comes in his creamsicle and red scuba suit, with a sculpted pattern on the suit, along with a yellow stripe on the back of the torso and sides, a yellow belt buckle, and this is an unusual color scheme for any G.I. Joe character. The helmet is red, with a dark blue mohawk and visor, and the sides of the mouth piece is where you plug the hoses into.

The Hydro-Viper includes some of his vintage 1988 accessories, including a blue oxygen tank (where you plug the 2 hoses into), a spear gun, and 2 fins. Other than the color scheme and differences between this version and his vintage figure, the most memorable accessory is not included, which is the Devil Ray. The hoses work the same way that they did in 1988, plugging into the sides of the face, and the oxygen tank. It should also be noted that this helmet is non-removable, whereas the vintage figure had that feature to reveal the masked head sculpt underneath.

Daina is an International character and a member of the Oktober Guard, and she is based on her appearance in the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero cartoon. She comes in a pink and white snow suit, with a black belt and grey belt buckle, black gloves, and boots, and the white parts on the snow suit have a sculpted texture. Her head sculpt looks great and includes painted red lips, and she has black sculpted hair. The hat is non-removable, and also includes the sculpted texture on the white part, with the top part of the hat being pink.

Included with Daina is a rifle, which is her only accessory. This version of Daina has never been made into a figure before, so long-time collectors get to own a cartoon version of this character, even if you own previous versions of her, this one will stand out on her own.
It should be noted that none of these include a figure stand, which is something that Hasbro offered with G.I. Joe back in the day so you can create better poses without the figure falling over. That accessory would have been a great addition to this line, but there are alternatives out there if you want a figure stand for these.
Their articulation is standard for G.I. Joe o-ring style figures, which has not changed since 1982. This includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, hinged elbows, ball jointed torso (connected by a rubber band), ball jointed hips, and hinged knees.
Overall, these are excellent figures and something different not done in o-ring style before, which is very smart on Super7’s part as it gives fans something that they don’t already have. This is also an interesting assortment of characters, as these have never been offered in the same wave before. Long time fans and collectors will enjoy this new wave, so make sure to pick these up, and Chuckles at BigBadToyStore!
