Boss Fight Studio are offering the first wave of their Garfield action figures, which are inspired by the classic comic-stripe and this wave includes Garfield, Odie and Nermal. This is a new partnership with Paramount, and it’s the first-time that Garfield will be getting an articulated figure, as Boss Fight Studio announced this first back in 2024 before other toy companies took note and basically copied off their idea. But it was Boss Fight Studio that did this first.

Garfield, Odie and Nermal are packaged on blister cards, with artwork and logo’s on both sides, and the back includes images of the figures and a look at their accessories.
Garfield, Odie and Nermal are inspired by their appearance in the classic comic strip by Jim Davis, and the sculpts are painted smoothly and painted in their iconic colors. Garfield is painted in orange, with black hair patterns on his ears, black strikes on the back of the head and back, and tail, with three hairs sticking up on the sides of his upper head. Odie is yellow, with black spots on his sides, two black hairs on the back of his head, and a black tail. Nermal is grey, with black stripes on her back and tail.
The legs on Garfield and Nermal are prone to falling off, which are on ball joints but can be placed right back on, so at least there’s no immediate breakage on these. Aside from that, the sculpts are really good, with excellent character likenesses paint applications and details bringing these characters off the pages and onto your toy shelves.
Garfield includes two face plates that are interchangeable, each with a unique expression. The eyes are light grey with black pupils, yellow lips with black spots, and a pink nose.
Garfield includes a Tray of lasagna with a piece that does not fit back into the tray, and Pookey teddy bear. These accessories are given their one detailed paint applications that came out great.
Garfield’s articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel-hinged tail, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Odie has an interchangeable teeth and tongue-out pieces, that you can switch by taking off the top of the head and puling the lower portion of the piece from the body. The teeth are white, and the tongue is red, and he’s given brown floppy ears, white eyes with black pupils, and a back nose.
Odie includes a wagging tail effect, and a food dish with his name on it.
Odie’s articulation includes a swivel tail, ball jointed hips, and hinged and rocker ankles. The head does not have articulation as the teeth and tongue pieces are interchangeable.
Nermal includes interchangeable face plates, one with open eyes that are white with black pupils, and one with shut eye lids. Both have black eye lashes, and she has a pink nose.
Nermal includes a ball of yarn, and a box to be mailed to far-off land, which has her tail sticking out the top, which can swivel, and her eyes looking out the front. The box is tied shut with black string, and has a note saying To: ABU DHABI, which indicates Garfield’s intentions to ship her overseas.
Nermal’s articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel-hinged tail, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
