The Four Horsemen Studios are now offering their Mythic Legions: Legacies of Mythoss – Army of Leodysseus Otho and Urzokk Version 2 Figures. Both figures are given some new updates from their original releases, such as new head sculpt for Otho, and 3 new head sculpts for Urzokk. This is a great way to update your collection especially if you missed out on these two great characters the first-time around. Otho is a figure that I personally did not pick up the first time he came out and I kicked myself for it later, so getting this updated version offers some relief as getting the character now is certainly great.

Otho comes packaged in a window box, which features some great artwork, with images of Otho on the sides, an image on the back along with a description.

Otho comes in his knight armor that was used the first-time around, but also given some new updates including a tunic and skirt soft goods that are blue and gold fabric, and there’s a wire for custom posing. The straps around the torso, and belt around the waist are also new, along with the loin cloth that’s gold and silver, with both featuring loops so that the scabbards can be placed and stored. The armor itself is silver with gold accents, which was also seen before on his first release.

His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged shoulders, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.

Otho includes a newly tooled head sculpt with his distinctive look, along with two helmeted head sculpts with visors that flip down. To remove Otho’s face plate on both of these helmets, you need to remove the top part of the forehead part of the helmet, then remove the face plate. It’s a simple yet effective feature and gives him some great alternatives for posing and displaying. Both helmeted sculpts look great and features their own distinctive likeness. The facial details on both the face plate, and the new head sculpt look great and captures a great likeness of the character.

Otho includes a broad sword and a standard sword, both given some great attention to detail, and each includes a scabbard. The shield features two middle inserts, which includes a Leodysseus lion symbol and a standard round one, with both being interchangeable. The battle axe is also new, and more detailed than the one that came with his first release. Part of the blade is also given a blue wash, which looks great.

Overall, Otho is a fantastic update to his original release and one that you need to own even if you have the first one, this one is lightyears better. The quality and attention to detail is truly top notch, and this is a Mythic Legions figure you don’t want to miss. Make sure to pick him up now!
