Hasbro’s G.I. Joe Classified Series 6″ Cobra Overkill is inspired by his 1992 o-ring figure that was originally part of the Battle Commanders wave. This new Classified 6″ pays homage to that figure, and given a modern update with very close matching colors to the vintage release. Overkill’s function in the Cobra ranks is to lead the Cobra B.A.T.S. into battle, as opposed to them being mindless drones, he gives them orders on the battle field to make them much more deadlier and formidable.

Overkill is packaged in a window box with the standard artwork and logo’s given to every figure in the line, including images on both sides, and the back includes an action shot and close ups of his face and chest.
Overkill is inspired by his 1992 o-ring figure and given an all-new sculpt that captures the characters likeness beautifully. T he colors also pay tribute to the classic 1992 figure, with the neon green torso, black, metallic gold on the arms and legs that are his robotic limbs, and red. The sculpt features sculpted grooves and sculpted details, capturing the robotic and cybernetic limbs and components.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles.
The head sculpt features a human face, with nicely done paint apps, a left cybernetic eye, and a gold helmet, which features a removable face plate. The face plate has a hole for the right eye, while the left one is covered. The torso has opening panels, which has a red blaster inside along with metallic silver deco, and the blaster can be lifted down and pointed straight forward to fire at enemies.
Overkill includes a eural scrambler with wrist attachment, which is mostly black, with some pink deco. This is his largest and primary weapon, and can be held with both hands.
Also included is a blaster that is placed on by putting the loop through the forearm, and placed the hand back on. Also included is a claw hand that are both hinged, and a plasma-blade hand, which both can be placed on by removing the hands. Unlike the B.A.T., there is no backpack to store these attachments on.
Overall, Overkill is an excellent figure and a great addition to your Cobra ranks. This is an essential figure to own as he’s the commander of the B.A.T.’s, making him one of this years best villains in the line. Make sure to grab Overkill and additional offerings now at Entertainment Earth!
