Santa’s Sleigh is packaged in a window box, with Christmas inspired artwork on all asides, including the Naughty or Nice logo, and the sides and back features a look at the sleigh, Reindeer and Santa Claus.
Santa’s Sleigh is based on the classic design and measures roughly 10″ long x 4.5″ wide x 6.5″ tall, and is compatible with 6-7″ action figures. The Sleigh is mostly red with gold trim, including sculpted patterns on all sides, and a hook in front for the Reindeer link.
It also features a seat that can sit two figures, the back of it is empty space and at least two figures (or more) can stand up (but this is supposed to be where the presents are stored), and a control panel with buttons, dials and other instruments that Santa can use to fly the Sleigh, which is a new feature to the design.
The Reindeer link and brown straps come separately in baggies, and the smaller accessories such as the Lanterns, black gloves for Santa, Hooks for the sides and silver connectors come inside a smaller baggie.
The Lanterns and hooks go on the sides of the Sleigh, and the black gloves are interchangeable hands for Santa.
Santa Claus can be seated, but leans more to the front and can’t lean back given at how he was designed, and as stated above a figure or two can be placed in the back, and in this case it’s Krampus.
The Sleigh is compatible with 1-9 of the Reindeer that are sold separately, and connected using the Reindeer link and brown toe-line connectors. There is a sheet of instructions, but it’s tricky to understand how to connect the brown straps to all 9 Reindeer. For just Rudolf, they connect to the sides of his face using one of the longest of the two straps, which then can be placed in Santa’s hands.
All 9 Reindeer can be connected using the Reindeer links and brown straps, but in this photoshoot only three Reindeer are shown only because the setup is too long for the table. So you’re going to need plenty of space to display it with the 9 Reindeer. The Reindeer links connect to the Connective circular gold or grey connectors that are in a separate baggie, and you’re doing to want to connect these to each side of the Reindeer. The hardest part for me anyway was figuring out the brown straps without proper referencing to connect them to the Reindeer. So in this instance they were left unattached.
The Reindeer (sold separately) includes Dasher, Comet, Donner, Prancer and Rottenhoof. You will need 9 Reindeer and the Reindeer heads pack if you want to re-create Santa in his sleigh with the flying Reindeer. To get it right, make sure to get 3x Dasher, 2x Comet, 2x Donner, 2x Prancer and 1x Reindeer heads pack. The Rudolf head is included in the heads pack.
Overall, Santa’s Sleigh is an excellent vehicle and a great addition to your Holiday display and decorations. It’s long overdue to get a proper Santa Claus display like this for toy collectors, and this has been well worth the wait. Make sure to grab the Sleigh and more now at BigBadToyStore!
