Fatal Fluffy creatures appeared in the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero animated series of the 1980s. Genetically engineered by Cobra, they start out as cute and cuddly, until they are commanded by a silent whistle to transform into beasts with claws, fangs, and horns that can easily ambush or overpower the Joes. These Super7 ReAction+ Figures of the Fatal Fluffy characters are 4.5” tall with 12 points of articulation, and they come with a variety of accessories, including a whip, a flame effect, and a blaster. The window-box packaging, in which they arrive, features Super7 artwork influenced by the animated series.

The Fatal Fluffy set is packaged in a box with beautifully done artwork showcasing the characters on the front, along with logo’s and images on all sides, and the back also includes a bio card. The figures come in a plastic tray tray, and their accessories come in a plastic baggie that’s placed on the side.
The Fatal Fluffy is a reissue with some changes from his single carded 2025 release by Super7, and comes in a light grey skin tone with sculpted grooves, dark grey sculpted fur on the torso, forearms and lower legs, a light blue belt, with sculpted pouches on both sides of the belt. He is part of the o-ring style ReAction+ line, which is inspired by the G.I. Joe action figures of the 1980’s and 1990’s, which features a rubber band holding the torso and legs together.
Two of the head sculpts are the same, with an open mouth that is reuse from the 2025 release. The eyes on this one is also looking straight forward and all the eyes on green, just like the 2025 release. The third figure has a wide open mouth with a hole in it, so he can hold the flame effect accessory inside his mouth. All of the heads have light beige horns on top, with sculpted dark grey fur, white teeth, and nicely done facial details.
He is given the same articulation as all other o-ring style figures since 1982, which includes a ball jointed head but with limited articulation as the fur prevents much of the movement, hinged neck, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, swivel-hinged elbows, ball jointed waist, ball jointed hips, and hinged knees.
The Fatal Fluffy’s include a flame attachment for the wide open mouth figure, a pistol, and a whip for the other two. The flame and pistol and new to the character, while the whip was included with the 2025 release.
Here’s a group shot of the characters holding their accessories, which are a formidable trio for G.I. Joe.
The 2026 release is to the left, while the 2025 release is to the right (the bottom is supposed to show the year, but the last two numbers were cut off from some reason while editing). The biggest difference here is the position of the eye balls, with the new 2026 release has eyes looking forward, and the 2025 release has eyes looking up and to the sides. So it’s easy to tell them apart by that feature alone.
Overall, this Fatal Fluffy set is long overdue for G.I. Joe by about 40 years, so getting these characters now in this format is a special treat for fans looking to boost their Cobra ranks and monsters.
