The Nacelle Company held a panel at NYCC, and although the panel moved at Warp Speed, there were a few announcements to take note of. Chief among these is that there will be a collaboration between Biker Mice from Mars and Judge Dredd. This collaboration will see the mice donning the familiar Dredd uniforms. The collaboration will take the form of both action figures and a comic book.
Also, a “close to final” section of the Star Trek Bridge was shown. Details on how and when the Bridge will be available were still being finalized. They did say, however, that the Bridge sections and the TOS Crew Member figures would be sold separately.
They gave a shipping update for upcoming waves, saying that, at least for the moment, they are all on schedule.
The also announced Series 2 of their mini-figures, available exclusively at Entertainment Earth.
There is also more product coming from the Movie side of Nacelle, most notably, a film called the Con of Wrath, detailing the “Fire Fest Star Trek Convention” from 1982.
After the panel, Bryan from Nacelle was kind enough to give me a few minutes of his time. Here is what he had to say about what’s ahead.
