Zombie Pirate Santa is packaged in a window box, with Christmas inspired artwork on all asides, including the Naughty or Nice logo, and the sides and back features a look at the rest of the wave. Zombie Pirate Santa is packaged in a plastic tray along with his accessories, with some additional accessories packaged in a small ziplock bag.
Zombie Pirate Santa is a retool and repaint of the existing Santa Claus figure in this line, with a red and white Santa coat that is longer and retooled, and the white trim parts are given a sculpted texture, red pants, a left black boot, and a right wooden leg. The Santa coat has a black wash painted over it, which makes it look worn and more realistic. He is also given a black belt with a silver belt buckle, a belt buckle on the boot, and the wooden leg has a silver piece that looks metal that connects it to the joint. His Candy cane left hook is connected to a black dome, which can swivel, and the hook looks the part of a Candy Cane.
Zombie Pirate Santa is fully articulated, and includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel wrist and swivel Candy Cane, ball jointed waist, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, swivel and rocker right ankle. The wooden leg is non-articulated.
HIs Zombie head sculpt features the appearance of green decaying flesh, like something you would see in a cartoon, with nicely done sculpted facial details, a long white beard with a wash, and short white hair. The eyes, nose and mouth all look great, with the nose missing, and the mouth open and could be making noises.
The Zombie likeness is given two sets of interchangeable right hands (neutral and open grip), so he has that zombie hand, as well as being able to hold his sword in this form.
His other head sculpt features the likeness of a Pirate, with a red eye patch over the left eye, a light grey beard with a wash, light grey mustache, eye lashes and back of the head, and a black bandana on top of his head, which is perfect for putting the Pirate hat over it.
He also includes a stocking, a present, a map and a stand, which includes two pegs and can be placed on both feet. The map has a drawing of possibly bored treasure, and can be held in his open grip hand.
Zombie Pirate Santa and includes a sword, which is given a silver blade with a black wash, and a gold handle. This can only be placed in his right open grip hand in either form, as the other one is a hook and not meant to hold anything.
Also included are two pieces of gold, along with the stocking, map, present and stand as shown.
Here is a comparison of Zombie Pirate Santa with two versions of Classic Santa, including the yellow and white bearded versions. As you can see, there are some updates to the outfit, such as a new Santa robe while given some reuse such as the pegs, arms, boots, belt, and upper torso.
Overall, Santa’s Sleigh is an excellent vehicle and a great addition to your Holiday display and decorations. It’s long overdue to get a proper Santa Claus display like this for toy collectors, and this has been well worth the wait. Make sure to grab the Sleigh and more now at BigBadToyStore!
