Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified Series Mad Marauders Footloose, Mutt & Junkyard Figure Set are packaged in a window box, with logo’s and artwork on all sides, and the back includes images of the figures with an action shot with some great toy photography.

Footloose comes in the Mad Marauders deco, with a blue with one green pouch and a holster for the knife, a blue belt with a holster for the pistol, a brown jacket with insignia’s such as the America flag and a clover, a blue and green undershirt, dark green pants with a sculpted texture, with bright green at the center, light brown at the bottom, and black boots with sculpted laces. His wrists include wrist bands, which are removable.
Footloose’s articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.

The head sculpt looks great with sculpted light brown hair, a mustache, eye lashes, painted eyes and nicely done facial details.

Mutt also comes in a blue vest with some details such as a holster for the knife, and a metallic silver police badge. He also comes in a dark brown jacket with a black undershirt, bright green sleeves, dark and light green pants with a sculpted texture, dark brown knee pads, a blue strap with a holster for the pistol on his right hips, and dark brown boots with black padding. The left forearm has a black passing for Junkyard to bite into, and the right wrist includes a black band.
Mutt’s articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch (possibly but can’t be 100% sure as the vest is non-removable), ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.

His head sculpt looks great with black sculpted hair, a mustache, eye browns and paint eyes, and nicely done facial details.

Junkyard is also reuse, and this time he comes in the Mad Marauders blue vest, with some grey and black deco. There’s a handle on top of the vest to control him, and he comes with a blue collar with silver spikes. Junkyard features the likeness of a Rottweiler, with sculpted textures to indicate fur, a black and light brown coating. He includes two head sculpts, including smiling with the tongue sticking out, and a snarling one. Both are given a great likeness and facial details.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged hips x 4, swivel-hinged elbows x4, hinged and rocker ankles x4.

Footloose includes a bazooka with a shark mouth and a missile that fits inside it, with white teeth, red gums, a green and olive barrel that includes a strap to be placed around his shoulder. It is however difficult to get him to hold it straight/pointing forward, as there is no handle for him to hold. He also includes a backpack, helmet with green camouflage and black binoculars sculpted to it, a pistol and a knife, and a assault rifle.

Mutt includes a helmet, a mask, two goggles (one for the helmet, and one over his eyes), four sets of interchangeable black gloved hands, a pistol and knife, nightstick and an assault rifle.

The connection between Mutt and Junkyard carries over well and the open hand sculpts allow them to bond and do some training, such as sit, and stay. If you wanted the 1980’s G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero cartoon, Mutt and Junkyard also had a bond in the cartoon, which can carry over here as well depending on the poses you display them in.

Overall, Hasbro’s G.I. Joe Classified Series 6″ Mad Marauders Footloose, Mutt and Junkyard Figure Set both came out great and are a welcome addition to the line. It’s always great to fill out the roster and add more characters to a team, even if they’re repaints. Make sure to grab this set, along with additional figures now at BigBadToyStore!
