Hasbro is offering a new team of the Fantastic Four that is inspired from Fantastic Four #22 by Dan Slott, which includes Spider-Man, Wolverine, Franklin and Valerie Richards. Back in 1990, Marvel summoned a team team of the Fantastic Four, which includes Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk and Ghost Rider to step in while the Fantastic Four were handling the new Kree/Skrull threat, and in recent years, Spider-Man and Wolverine rejoined the team when Franklin and Valerie reached out for help. The outfits are new for Wolverine and Spider-Man as they did not give them these designs back in 1990, so in this modern comic book, they are wearing new attire to represent the Fantastic Four.

The Fantastic Four Spider-Man and Wolverine set are packaged in a standard figure window box, with some new artwork to represent the comic book series that is in black, with the appropriate logo’s including the blue and white Fantastic Four logo. There are also images of the characters on the sides and back. The figures come in a plastic tray, along with their interchangeable hands.
Wolverine is given a reused sculpt with a newly tooled belt, and comes in a brand new blue and black outfit inspired from the Fantastic Four. We’ve seen this tooling used recently with Wolverine figures, and it’s still a great sculpt to use for this character. The X-Men logo is on his chest in black and white, which replaces the Fantastic Four logo, The belt is new, and comes in a light grey, with a white and grey X on the belt buckle. The claws are articulated with extremely limited movement, and he comes with a set of closed fisted hands, and clawed hands.
The head sculpt is masked, with a blue and black mask, and he has white eyes, skin tone and painted lips.
His articulation includes a bal jointed head and hinged neck, swivel-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, doubled-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Spider-Man is another great sculpt that is fully articulated and this continues to be a great sculpt for him. Like Wolverine, he comes in his black and blue Fantastic Four outfit as seen in Marvel Comics, and comes with the Spider-Man logo in black and white on his chest, which replaces the Fantastic Four logo.
His head is masked, and he has the blue mask with black liner around the white eyes.
Spider-Man comes with three sets of interchangeable hands, including open grip, web shooting, and open hands. The closed fisted hands also work for him, and you can swap out the open grip and closed fisted hands with Wolverine.
His articulation is also standard for the line, and includes a ball jointed head and hinged neck, ball hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, lower ab crunch, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel thighs, hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Fantastic Four Spider-Man and Wolverine figures look great to their comic book likenesses and are surely essential additions to your collection, especially if you own the Franklin and Valerie Richards set, which I hope you do.
