Hasbro is offering their Marvel Legends Iron Fist and Luke Cage figure two pack as part of their 85th Anniversary line, and this set is based on The New Avengers series. These figures are given modern sculpts and are an update to what has previously been offered. Power Man and Iron Fist are heroes for hire. Luke Cage (Power Man) has unbreakable and impenetrable skin, and Iron Fist is a master of martial arts and has the mystical power of the Iron Fist. Both figures have needed updates for years and this two pack is surely one of this years most memorable offerings.

Iron Fist and Luke Cage are packaged in a window box with logo’s and comic book inspired artwork. They comes packaged in a plastic tray, and you can clearly see the accessories and the figure in the front now that the plastic-less packaging is done.
Iron Fist comes in his green outfit with a yellow mask that has black around the eyes, a yellow collar, yellow belt and yellow shoes. His chest includes the Dragon symbol, which is not actually a tattoo but a but a mark given to a warrior that defeated Shou-Lao, the dragon.
Iron Fist is given two head sculpts, both are similar with one being closed, and the other an open mouth. Both have a bandana on the back that can swivel.
Iron Fist includes 4 sets of interchangeable hands, 2 Iron Fist effects, and the two heads shown above.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, butterly and ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball joined hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles, and hinged toes. The bandana on the back can also swivel.
Luke Cage comes in his yellow shirt, blue jeans, with his name Luke on the belt buckle that is in metallic silver, and black boots.
Luke Cage comes with two interchangeable head sculpts, one with a closed and the other with an open mouth, just like Iron Fist.
Luke Cage includes two sets of interchangeable hands (closed fisted, and open grip), along with the head sculpts.
His closed fisted hands include the brass knuckles, which are painted in metallic gold and has his name on them.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, butterly and ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch, swivel waist, ball joined hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.
Both Iron Fist and Luke Cage are a vast improvement over what Hasbro put out years ago, with not only in the sculpts but the style and articulation of the figures as well. Some of my older Marvel Legends are buried in bins so that’s why some of the older Luke Cage’s aren’t here, but I do have the classic Luke Cage figure that was recently released to compare him with. This new era of Marvel Legends are the best offerings of these characters, and if you go back to most of what has been released before, you can clearly see why.
Overall, Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Iron Fist and Luke Cage figures look great and pay a great tribute to their comic book likenesses. These are two figures that you’re definitely going to want to add especially since these are updates and also upgrades to what has been offered before. Make sure to grab these figures now at BigBadToyStore for $50.99.
