Savage Opress is Force-sensitive Dathomirian Nightbrother that had once served The Night Sisters. Asajj Ventress, Count Dooku, and eventually joined forces with his brother, Darth Maul during The Clone Wars. Savage Opress and Darth Maul had attempted to build their own crime syndicate by recruiting the pirates that served under Pirate Captain Savage Opress was later killed by Darth Sidious in a lightsaber duel when he sensed a rising challenge in the Force and saw the brothers as a threat to him. Sidious killed Savage Opress, while Maul survived the encounter.
Savage Opress is definitely long overdue to join this line given the character’s popularity from the series and being one of the most memorable antagonist Sith’s.

Savage Opress comes in a window box, with the standard The Black Series 6″ packaging design, an image of him on the side, an image and a description on the back.
Savage Opress is inspired from his appearance on The Clone Wars, and comes in a dark grey armored outfit, with shoulder guards, a blue soft-goods skirt, dark blue pants, dark blue boots, and metallic silver shin guards with a wash. He also has a metallic silver armor with a wash on the front of the boots, dark blue around his waist, a dark blue belt with a metallic silver belt buckle, and a hook on the belt for the hilt. Hanging from the belt is a soft plastic piece with a decorative symbol, which is dark blue with sculpted textures, and a metallic grey symbol.
HIs head sculpt features a great likeness to the series, and features horns that are sharp to the touch, a yellow and brown painted head, and nicely done facial details.
Savage Opress includes a Glaive, which includes a blade on one end, and comes in a dark grey, with a metallic silver bade. The lightsaber hilt can also be stored on the hook on his hip.
The double bladed lightsaber features removable red blades from the hilt, and he can hold it with one or two hands. The lightsaber is given two red blades, and a light grey, black and red hilt, with a loop on one end so that it can be stored on the hook below the belt.
Hasbro’s designer paid close attention to the height of the character from the series, and this figure is definitely proportional to how he appeared next to other characters. Here is a comparison with Darth Maul, as he appeared in The Clone Wars.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head and neck, butterfly shoulders, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel forearms, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed lower torso, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, swivel-hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles.
