NECA Toys newly released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Battle Damaged Shredder Figure is inspired from the classic colors as seen in Mirage Comics. This figure is a repaint of the blue and black version released fairly recently, and offers you this figure once again in more memorable colors.

Shredder is packaged in a window box with artwork and logo’s inspired from Mirage Comics, including the front, sides, and comic book panels with images of the figures on the back. Also on the back are comic images of additional figures offered.
Shredder is a repaint of the Battle Damaged Shredder in his blue outfit (not shown), which is a new version of the character released into this line. This one here is given the classic colors, with red and black highlights, metallic silver armor with black wash, and brown on the bands around his neck, belt, forearms, and boots. This version has the battle damage, with the chest, and upper legs showing cuts with blood, and tears in the outfit.
The head sculpts come with removable neck pieces that are interchangeable, and he has a helmeted head, with metallic silver and a black wash, with black deco around the white eyes, and a head sculpt showing his facial details. This head includes black sculpted hair, cuts with blood, and nicely done facial details. and a Thermite grenade.
Shredder includes four sets of interchangeable hands (three open grip, and a closed fisted set), an arm brace that cannot be placed on the figure, and a Thermite grenade.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball jointed neck, swivel-hinged neck, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles, and hinged toes.
A comparison of Shredder shows how he looks compared to other figures in the Mirage Comics line, including the regular blue edition. This particular sculpt is thinner compared to some of the new Shredder figures, including the Shredder Clone 2-pack..
Overall, Shredder is an excellent figures and a great addition to the Mirage Comics inspired line. The likeness and attention to detail is top notch and fits in perfectly with the collection.
