Junkion Jalopy is part of the first wave of Deluxe Class figures in Age of the Primes this year, and as he’s a retool, he also function that was also used in Legacy: Evolution, primarily for Junkions that can mix and match limbs, parts and accessories to create unique robot and vehicle modes, or armor and weaponry for other figures.

Jalopy is packaged in a window box with images and artwork on all sides, and the back includes a look at Jalopy in both modes.
Junkion Jalopy is a redeco from Legacy: Evolution Axlegrease, and a retool from Scraphook also in that line. Jalopy is primarily brown, orange, red and silver, with an Autobot logo on his chest, yellow flames on his lower legs, sides of the legs, back, and he’s the first version of his mold to not come with the hook.
His head sculpt is reuse from Buzzworthy Bumblebee Tow-Line, which was inspired by his appearance in Transformers: RID. This head sculpt includes a brown helmet, red visor and silver face plate.
Jalopy also retains the Evo-Fusion function gimmick, which allows parts of his body to break apart to be used for armor and weaponry for other figures. His accesses, including the Exhaust Pipes, spiked spare tire, and armor placed on the forearms connect with the 5mm ports, and you can move these parts around to your liking. The blasters can also be placed together and held in one hand.
Some companions show him along with Scraphook, Towline and Studio Series ’86 Wreck-Gar. He shares a lot of the same colors as Wreck-Gar, as the designer went that route, which is also commonly used for Junkion figures and characters.

His vehicle mode is a futuristic apocalyptic car, with the windshield and windows boarded up, the engine sticking up, Exhaust Pipes above the rear tires, flames on the hood and along the sides, and many nice details throughout this design.
Overall, Jalopy is a nice looking Transformers figure that fits in well with the Junkion faction of the line. Apparently he’s an army builder, so you’re going to want to buy multiples at the very least. The Evo-Fusion function is a nice addition to the character and something not shown in the instructions.
