Quintus Prime is one of the Thirteen Primes, and is best known for his unwavering fascination with life, pursuing of creating life and life forms, such as creating the Quintessons, and sometimes his creations had unintended consequences despite notable intentions.

Quintus Prime is packaged in a window box with images and artwork on all sides, and the back includes a look at Quintus Prime in both modes.
Quintus Prime is based on his design from the Covenant of Primus, and transforms from an alien squiddy-robot mode to squiddy-Cybertronian spaceship mode. The top portion of his torso looks like an alien robot, which features four arms, a chest with a hole at the center, and a head sculpt with six eyes. The Emberstone is inside his chest, which can be removed at the back, and that’s what you’re seeing from inside the chest. The lower half of the body is squid-like, with sculpted patterns and details, and in light and dark green. with metallic green at the front. The legs are translucent light green, with dark grey at the back, and are covered by the squid skirt that can be lifted up on all sides so you can see the legs.
His hands can hold the Emberstone, and the extra set of tentacles have a look at the end to hold an accessory, such as the Emberstone as well. That’s the only accessory he comes with, as this Transformer does not come with blasters, which is uncommon for the brand.
His is primarily dark and light metallic green, dark grey, with purple accents.
His head sculpt looks great and has the alien robot vibe to it, including his six eyes that shine because the piece behind the faceplate is translucent green plastic.
Here is a look at the squid skirt lifted up so you can see the legs, including the Emberstone placed in his two hands, and two tentacles. The Emberstone also has a small symbol on it.
Not shown on the instructions, but the Emberstone can be placed on his chest, as the back half if it is seen through the hole, it can also be placed facing you.
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, hinged elbows, swivel-hinged tentacle arms, swivel wrists (these are very tight), swivel waist, swivel-hinged hips, hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles. The squid skirt has hinge joints on all sides, allowing you to lift it up and see the knees.

Quintus Prime transforms into a squiddy-Cybertronian spaceship, with two different options as seen in the instructions. The cockpit opens up and you can also remove the Emberstone in this mode. The tentacle arms can be placed in two different ways in this mode, one used at the bottom as landing gear, and the other off to the sides pointing backwards.
Overall, Quintos Prime is an excellent looking Transformers figure that fits in well with the Primes offered in this line. The design works well, and he has that wacky alien robot vibe that fits in with the other figures released. Make sure to grab him now at BigBadToyStore!
