Super7 have begun re-releasing some of the older ThunderCats Ultimates figures as we’ve seen with Slithe, Bengali, Wilykit, Wilykat and others, and new variations of Lion-O, Cheetara, Panthro and other figures including the LJN vintage toy deco sub-line. Super7 is going all-in and expanding this line as much as possible with not only variations of A-list characters, but also diving deep into the roster and getting to characters such as the newly announced Jagara, Zaxx, Wizz-Ra and Mumm-Ra (Old Man). This line has become a dream come true for fans and has come a very long way since the initial six figure launch with Mattel 10 years ago.
Mandora is offered again and comes in a new packaging variation, as well as some differences in deco that are specified in this review. So keep on reading!
Thank you to Super7 for sending along their ThunderCats Ultiamtes! Mandora figure for review. Currently, Mandora is in-stock now at Super7 and up for pre-order on Amazon for $64.99.
Availability: January 2026
Mandora is packaged in the standard Ultimates! window box, with some new updates compared to her 2023 release. This new version of the back has a ThunderCats logo on top where the Ultimates logo was, Ages 14+, Ultiamtes! and Super7 logo’s above the window, an image of Mandana on the bottom, and the ThunderCats logo and her name is located in a different placement also on the bottom, as the design of the box around her image and ThunderCats logo is newly placed. The back of the box almost remains the same, with the SUper7 logo on the upper right in smaller text and in red, compared to in white. The placement of the figure and accessories remains the same in the plastic tray. The slipcover and brown mailer box is not included this time around.

Mandora is inspired by her appearance in the classic 1980’s cartoon, as she made appearances in the episodes Mandora – The Evil Chaser,
Mandora and the Pirates, Lion-O’s Anointment Final Day: The Trial of Evil, Sideswipe, Return to Thundera, Part 1, Return to Thundera, Part 4 , Cracker’s Revenge and The Zaxx Factor. As seen in the series, she comes in a black, pink, red, silver and light grey outfit, with a white belt buckle with a red line, and there’s a holster on her right hip for the electronic boomerang.

Her head sculpts are the same as before, and she comes with three, each with a silver helmet, visor, blonde hair, and facial details.

There are a few paint differences in this version, compared to the 2023 release, including the visor is now given lighter lines, and the black on the outfit is now a matte finish, compared to more glossy one. The pink on the shoulder pads and other parts, and the red on the torso are also now lighter compared to her previous release, and the silver mask is now a bit darker compared to the lighter silver from the 2023 release. But you won’t notice those changes unless you look up close, as the differences are minimal, but noticeable.
Removing the heads and hands can be tricky, as everything is a bit tight and breakage may occur, you’re going to want to heat it with a hairdryer first before attempting this. This will help prevent breakage.
Her articulation is the same as before, and includes a ball jointed head and neck, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed torso, ball jointed hips, swivel-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles.

She includes the same interchangeable hands, includes 6 right hands, and 4 left hands. Including a set of closed fisted, a set of open grip, a right thumbs up, right pointy finger, a set of clawed hands, and a right trigger finger hand.

She includes her electric boomerang, and another one with the effect piece.

Also included are handcuffs, Ticket machine, Communicator and a Badge, with no differences in deco compared to the first release. Each of these accessories are given great paint applications and detailed likenesses.

Here is a comparison with Cheetara, as she fits in well with the rest of the line.
Overall, Mandora features a great likeness to the series and this bounty hunter is an essential part of the ThunderCats Ultimates collection. The deco, accessories and sculpt all look great, and as stated above, the paint differences between this version and the 2023 release are minimal, but noticeable. Make sure to grab her now, especially if you missed out the first-time at Super7!
