This blue deco matches last years Jacob Marley’s retailer exclusive as this was also offered in blue deco, and are inspired from A Christmas Carol, which is a classic Christmas story of when the Ghost of Marley appears to Scrooge. In the classic book, the Ghost of Christmas Past takes Scrooge on a journey into Christmas past.

The Ghost of Christmas Past comes packaged in a window box with a wrap-a-round cover that serves as a diorama to display the figure. The cover features an image of her on the front with beautifully done artwork, including an image of her head and the night sky on the left, the street light on the right, and a description on the back. On the other side of the cover is a diorama with Scrooge throwing a Christmas Party, which is more great artwork. The window box itself features more great artwork showcasing Scrooge’s house, and the street light. She comes in a plastic tray for safe keeping, along with a second tray for the accessories behind it..

There is also an included book that tells the story of A Christmas Carol, but with all the great artwork that you see on the packaging. There are many pages, and if you want to read this book you’ll have to buy the figure at BigBadToyStore.

The Ghost of Christmas Part is a repaint of the white version of the figure, and comes in the spirit blue deco, which does look better visually at least in my opinion. The light blue skin tone has some darker blue accents, which really bring out the detail nicely, along with dark blue finger and toe nails. Her outfit is entirely soft goods, with wires at the bottom of the outfit and the belt to help give it some poses. The robes are light blue, with a shiny white belt that wraps around her waist.

She includes two hair portraits, and four interchangeable head sculpts, with this hair piece featuring a crown with blue roses around the bottom portion, icicles sticking up in the front, and sticks also sticking up with a blue wash on the inside, and the outside is purple. The hair is sculpted and also light blue, and this and the crown are all one piece, with the head sculpt being able to be removed and swapped out for a different head. The facial details look great with light and dark blue tones, and white eyes.
She is also fully articulated, and includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed waist, ball jointed hips, hinged knees, swivel-hinged and rocker ankles.

A second set of arms is hidden on the back and underneath the outfit when taking her out of package, which plus into the lower back and you can also remove that part with the two lower arms. The light blue skin tone and paint nails is also shown on these arms and hands.

A second hair piece is similar to the other one, with the exception there is no crown. The head sculpt was also swapped out to show the differences between these two faces.

Also included is a lamp lost, a golden extinguisher, a holly leaf, five pairs of interchangeable hands, and a diorama display item of an old Victorian street lamp with snowy base.

The street lamp display looks great and is also on the fragile side. Inside the lamp is a lit candle, and the base includes bricks with snow around the post.

A comparison with Jacob Marley is shown, giving you an idea of how these figures look together.

There’s also a hidden surprise in a black bag, which is the fourth head sculpt and hair piece that features an open mouth, giving you a more frightening appearance of the character that you did not read about in the book or in any film incarnation of it. The details on the insides of the mouth are outstanding, with sharp teeth and a demonic expression.

As specified above, the extra set of arms can be removed, which are connected to a central piece that has a peg to plug it into the back.
Overall, The Ghost of Christmas Past is an excellent figure and a great companion piece to Jacob Marley. The attention to detail and likeness of the character has the Christmas vibe going for her. Make sure to add her today to your collection! She is currently in-stock at BigBadToyStore!
