Nexus Prime joins Hasbro’s Age of the Primes line, which is a Voyager Class figure. Nexus Prime is one of the Thirteen Primes. While the character has seen other figures in Cybertron, Classics, and Timelines, and Power of the Primes, this is his first really good release by Hasbro and something you don’t have. The character can also be used as the torso of a Combaticon team, with his own faction of limbs coming in 2027.

Nexus Prime is packaged in the standard window box for the line, with artwork and logo’s showcasing the character in both modes on the front, an image of him on the left, images of the Primes on the right, and the back features a look at him in both modes.
Nexus Prime is mostly based on his Transformers One design, along with a few specific details taken from his Covenant of Primus design and original concept art. His color scheme is based on his Transformers: Cybertron, Classics and Timelines toy, and he transforms into a Cybertronian jet tank. He is mostly blue, red, with light grey, silver, black, and gold.
HIs head sculpt features a red helmet, with a silver face and a gold visor. The other head sculpt is used as the Combiner, which is larger and you need to flip the back over the torso to the front, and place the nosecone to his chest. This is also not featured in the instructions.
Here is a look at his Combaticon head sculpt, which is larger and he is used as the torso of a combiner team. No instructions to create this is given here as this is not mentioned in the instructions.
Nexus Prime can also be used with Age of the Primes Silverbolt’s combiner frame, and attaches by rotating the upper torso 180 degrees, allowing the bulk of Nexus to show as a chestplate rather than be covered up by Superion’s chestplate. You can go back to Silverbolt’s review and check out that battle station mode that Nexus Prime’s torso can combine with. Nexus Prime’s torso can also be used to create a combiner Transformer that’s the size of Menasor or Superion, and uses parts from existing Autobot and Decepticon’s combaticons. Nexus Prime in vehicle mode is also able to attach to the front of Silverbolt’s booster kibble. This is not featured in the instructions and was announced by the designer.
Nexus Prime is also going to get his own combaticon team, which means figures will be able to be used as limbs for him in 2027, but it’s unclear if a new Nexus Prime figure will be offered for this or if this particular figure will be used for that purpose.
The head sculpt has the same colors as his robot head, with black on the sides.
Nexus Prime includes the Enigma of Combination, and two removable wings that can serve as blasters.
The articulation is broken down in the video. His ankles are also hinged, which was not mentioned in the video.

Nexus Prime transforms into a Cybertronian jet tank, which features hinged wings on the sides attached to the blasters, a gold windshield, and small turbo jets in the back that are next to the hands from his robot mode. The Enigma of Combination can also be placed under the nosecone in this mode.
