Liege Maximo is packaged in the standard window box for the line, with artwork and logo’s showcasing the character in both modes on the front, an image of him on the left, images of the Primes on the right, and the back features a look at him in both modes.

Liege Maximo is based primarily on his Transformers Generation 2 appearance as seen in the comic books, with updated elements from concept designs and original designs that inspired this figure. This is a beast of a figure, with giant horns that connect to his back, which can also be placed in his hand and used as a giant blaster. There are even horns made out of a soft plastic behind his head, which are curved to the sides, with a long silver horn sticking straight up. The sculpt itself is extremely detailed with metallic silver wires on the chest, legs, arms and sides of the legs, along with unpainted green wires on the front of the legs. He is primarily dark and light green, with silver, gold and red. His left arm features a 5mm flip-out cannon, which can be used to plug in the three attachments. His hands can also open, including the thumbs that recreate his hand draping over his thrones arm-rests. The shoulder pads are also attached via a 5mm port, and are removable (they also tend to fall out too easily).
His articulation includes a ball jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, hinged elbows, swivel wrists, hinged hands, hinged thumbs, waist rotation, swivel-hinged hips, swivel thighs, hinged knees, and hinged ankles.

The head sculpt looks great, with silver horns on top, red eyes, a silver faceplate, and a dark green helmet. He also has light green details below his mouth, and a red chin.

Liege Maximo includes a blaster with three Liegian Darts accessories, which plug into the blaster, or his right hand as shown by swapping it out with the 5mm attachment hidden in his wrist, as seen in the instructions.

The horns can also be placed in either hand and used as a giant blaster. The horns can also be placed on the back of the throne (apologies this was missed when the photoshoot was taken place as it’s seen resting on the front), and Liege Maximo can also be seated on the throne that came with Studio Series ’86 Starscream that was released in 2022.

Siege Maxmo transforms into a spaceship, which features the blaster in the front, and the horns on the back. This design may have even been inspired by Motherships from Dark of the Moon. There are also 5mm compatible ports on the top and sides to plug accessories, such as blasters and blast effects from other figures onto him in this mode.

Here is a comparison with some additional Prime figures in the line.
Overall, Liege Maximo is an excellent figure with a great design and sculpt. Since this is his first release outside of a Prime Master, this is something new and one that fans don’t have. Make sure to grab him and additional figures now at Entertainment Earth!
